Yeah, they need to stop that... we have Frankenstein's monster for a rule book. It's freakin Millonaire Calvinball. A catch needs to be defined as "it is a catch when a player catches it."

We need to get back to basics.

I think it's sad that you have 3 different sports with this same problem.

Well, then it sounds like they need to...it wouldn't be hard.

What is wrong with the Packers and Steelers this year? Both of these teams have been playing like crap this year. The steelers shouldn't be having any problems because they have so many weapons on offense and probably the best o line in football.... and you can't blame all their struggles on the secondary.

Don't know about the Steelers, other than their defense being a shell of its former self.

But does anyone else think that GB is the most underachieving and disappointing team in recent memory? I remember when they won the SB (coincidentally against the Steelers) the word on everyone's lips was dynasty.
                What happened to them?

The Steelers were vastly overrated preseason and they have nowhere near one of the best offensive lines in the league as the previous poster mentioned. I'm not even sure where that came from as it's been noted as one of the teams weaknesses.

They have playmakers on offense but that only takes you so far, they just don't have a complete team at all.

Yeah, they have 3 studs on offense but not much else

That's what killed them today. The Broncos player said he spent the entire game trying to mentally time their snaps on every PAT attempt. Saints apparently were close enough on timing that he was able to nail it on the time for when to jump.

2010 got to the GM's head and he thought he could get away with building a team full of undrafted players and late round draft picks.

As for being the most disappointing/underachieving team in recent memory? Not at all. Unless folks are going by what Vegas pegged them at, then I can see why some would say/believe that.

The Steelers opponents have a combined record of 48-30-2 at the moment.

Their opponents the rest of the way are 21-41-1.

Don't be surprised if they pull it together down the stretch.

Just watch tonights game, every snap count on kicks is the same.

The holder holds his head down, looks at the kicker to give him the okay and then looks at the snapper who in turns snaps it. It isn't really a secret art.

True, I was just mentioning what Simmons himself said after the game.

Packers: Their overall talent isn't that great and I really think last year showed that Aaron Rodgers is on a road of decline. Everyone said "oh it's because Jordy isn't on the field." Well he's on the field now and Rodgers is still up and down at times. I honestly think Green Bay may be in a situation where a coaching change might be necessary.

Steelers: Not the greatest defense in the world, only 3 really GREAT offensive players but their schedule gets a lot easier after this week so they might squeak into the playoffs.
