Ex-Dolphins and Rams RB Isiah Pead was in a bad car accident last weekend, lost part of his leg.

Was not wearing a seatbelt, accident was a product of driving fast and a blown tire. Car came to a rest over 100 feet from the road after going airborne and striking some trees, ejecting Pead and also injuring Bearcats DB Wesley Richardson who was also in the vehicle.

I still don't trust the Raiders defense against semi-competent TEs. Gronk and Bennett would feast. Maybe it'll be different by the end of the year?

The Ravens have done it twice, and should've done it a 3rd time (easy fg missed with time expiring... after a relatively easy td was dropped).

But if you're talking about this year's teams, I don't see PIT or anyone else doing it. The Pats would have to play a down game while just about everything going right for the opponent. In that scenario, there are a lot of teams that could get lucky and win there.

The Ravens are the healthiest they've been since week 1 and with Yanda coming back this week, the oline should be in tack too. This week will be a great test since they'll have their hands full spying Dak, containing Zeke, and still trying to keep Dez at bay. I actually think it's possible they do a good job on that side of the ball, but that won't be good enough if the offense can't help on the other side.

Wallace has probably been the most consistent WR but Smith's toughness along with still playing at a high level is huge... but can he stay healthy? I haven't given up on Perriman but the kid still can't catch and I don't trust him at all in a big moment (we're talking about a playoff game against NE after all).

For whatever reason, Brady always seems a bit shook playing against the Ravens, so that helps. But like you said, the offense needs to get a solid identity and show more consistency before I give them any kind of chance in this hypothetical game. It's trending up, but I think what we see this week will be very telling.

Am I a bad person for not feeling bad for him if he was driving a death machine like an idiot without a seatbelt?

I mean no you're not. But it wasn't like he was drinking or on drugs. Suffered a blowout, that could happen speeding or going the speed limit. Once that happens all bets are off on keeping control of the vehicle.

Yeah I get that, but that's a risk you accept anyway when driving any vehicle

I feel like Oakland or Denver might have a chance. Oakland for the simple fact that it would be a shootout and Denver in that their defense is still good enough that they can rise up to the occasion.

I don't trust a young QB to go on the road in Foxboro and beat NE.

I think Derek Carr has supreme confidence in his abilities and his team. Not so sure about Denver's QB.

I mean Marc Sanchize did it in 2010-11 when he was 24 years old.

I need to watch more Raider games it seems. Other than the Saints game haven't really seen them play. I know they were a surprise team last year and I do like Carr, in my mind I thought they were a year away, then Denver decided to piss away this season at QB. Got a project for the long holiday weekends coming up.

No thread for the game, but the officials just stopped the game three separate times and moved the ball to different spots as they couldn't decide where the foul took place....

                              THESE F****** OFFICIALS.

So they gotta get HFA throughout the playoffs.

Might have been the difference last season for Denver.
