Interesting article from Tyler Dunne, former Packers beat writer.

      NFL Off Topic

A long *** article that basically says he needs to yell and that he's an average QB. Articles and/or quotes like this are always silly no matter who they come from.

He wins and all this noise about "Aaron Average" that I've seen from people, shuts up plain and simple.

Winning always did cover up the fact that Rodgers is an *******. I'm over here sipping my tea as more people figure it out and the Wisconsin media starts to turn on him.

It's fine, you don't have to be likable. It's just funny to me when certain players get killed for it and others don't.

I'm sorry, I'm still laughing at Flacco saying Ray was spitting gibberish during his speeches. I just envision his speeches being like The Ultimate Warrior's promos.

Fans are going kill players regardless, if they're winning or losing. They're the same ones that killed Russell Wilson because he saved himself for marriage and are the same ones that drop the "Rapeisberger" nonsense when he plays like garbage.

Just come out(speaking in general) and say ya'll are tired of the Media NOT picking on the man and that ya'll are tired of Packer Fans caping for the man, lol. I know that Steven dude on here is.

Good idea. Always baffled me when I see "there wasn't a thread for the game so..." when every single one of us can just make a thread for the game, lol. Comment on the game? No thread? Create thread, insert comment.

I just hate the game talk coming to this thread bc the Off Topic thread will always be one of the longest and most frequently updated thread on the forum. Adding 2 or 3 pages of game commentary seems to make it unnecessarily longer.

Just out of curiosity why is the NFL forum the only forum that has a specific thread for every game? Every other forum has a thread for that weeks games. And they all go in the same place. Just curious, I don't care one way or the other.

I was doing it for a little bit whenever I had the chance to but then eventually I was like **** it and stuck to just making the game threads involving the Packers or any other big game that week.

The main reason is the schedule lends itself to it more. 90% of games are on Sunday, 75% at the exact same time, and the Thu/Mon outliers usually have the most eyes on them anyway. Basketball, baseball and hockey have MANY more games with a staggering schedule.

But also, before many OSers began linking up on twitter, the game threads used to be extremely active. We'd easily get 10+ pages for almost every single game.

I personally wish the other sports made more sense to have individual threads but they just don't... and I know some like it all grouped together too.

I appreciated it (and appreciate you still making the ones you do) as someone who rarely comes in to make new game threads.

With seven games going on at once can you imagine having to preface every comment with which if the seven games you're watching?

Yea I can. It happens every week in the college football thread. When there are more than 7 games going on at a time.

Read through that thread from last week.

During the early noon games there was zero conversation between people.

In fact the first person to quote someone else didn't come until 5 and half hours after the games started.

It's a jumbled mess with people talking to themselves for the most part about the game they are watching until the primetime game when everyone is watching the same thing.

It's great for those who want to talk about the game they're watching, it's not great for conversation which twitter has pretty much already ruined.

The Twitter doesn't ruin; but enhances.

This is what happened last night (can't embed):

The hit he sustained last year looks far worse and substantial than what happened last night. I'm not trying to minimize it but rather ask the question if he's heading down the trail of Eric Lindros where it takes less and less of an impact for him to sustain a concussion.
