NFL Off Topic
Browns losing ways reminded me of a Patriots stat I saw earlier. With today's win the Patriots clinched their 16th consecutive.500 season.
Now, that's not meant to brag, but more so how ridiculous it is that some Patriots fans just getting their drivers license have never experienced a losing season.
I remember they days Patriots games weren't even on TV locally because the team couldn't sell enough tickets.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Today Big Ben won his 10th game in Cleveland...he now holds the all-time record for wins by a QB in Cleveland. Yes, that is by all QB's...not just visiting QB's. Ben has won more times in Cleveland in his career than ANY Browns' QB has since they returned in 1999. That is mind boggling!

No. TV money and schedule are too good. In reality what so many remember he was as a HC if he came back would take a hit. Best to sit it out and collect those MNF pay checks.Last edited by areobee401; 11-21-2016, 01:04 AM.Comment

If anyone cares, Ray Lewis apologized to Flacco.
Four days after calling out Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco's passion for the game, Ray Lewis apologized via Twitter, saying, "It wasn't even personal" and that he was just "frustrated."
It was good of him to make an apology like that, but based on the wording it kinda came off like "yeah I meant it, but I shouldn't have said it"Comment

It's basically him saying how great the team would be if he were still there, and taking down another man in the process. Pretty sad, especially considering how much I like Ray. I wish he would go away and stop revealing how self centered and out of touch he is.Comment

Rams coach Jeff Fisher is closing in on a dubious NFL record: Most games lost ever by a head coach.
After Sunday’s come-from-ahead loss to the Dolphins, Fisher’s career coaching record stands at 173-162-1. He’s now tied with Tom Landry (whose career record was 250-162-6) for second place on the career loss list.
Dan Reeves, whose career coaching record was 190-165-2, owns the all-time record for losses, so Fisher needs to lose just three more games to tie the record and four more games to have the record all to himself. The Rams’ next four games are at New Orleans, at New England, home against the Falcons and at Seattle, so it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Fisher owns the all-time loss record in four weeks.
Although Fisher may own the career loss record, he’s not even in the all-time Top 10 in career wins. And among the 17 coaches who have coached at least 270 career games, Fisher ranks dead last with a .516 winning percentage.
If Fisher does set the career losses record before the season ends, that means the Rams’ record would be, at best, 6-10. Considering that Fisher famously declared before the season that “7-9 bulls–t” would be unacceptable, it’s hard to see how Rams owner Stan Kroenke could justify bringing Fisher back if he goes 6-10 or worse. Setting the career losses record could be Fisher’s final accomplishment as a coach.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Even a good apology (this was not) wouldn't matter because he shouldn't have said it in the first place AND it's not the first time he's spoken on things and in ways he clearly shouldn't, so no reason to expect it won't happen again... and therefore no reason to accept a BS apology.

In fact, they've only been twice since 1990 ('94 & '02) and both times they lost in...you guessed it. Pittsburgh. [emoji38]Comment
