I saw that live on the broadcast Sunday night. I actually watched it about 3 times to see if I could tell who shoved Norwood (the angle was too close up to tell) because I was certain that that was not an encouraging "let it go, we got your back" type shove.

Anyway, Talib is a ****. I hope he gets shoved someday when he gives up a big TD or drops an easy INT.

Apparently the contract is coming to an end, so I wouldn't react much to the chatter just yet. This is just the first time they actually could get rid of TNF if they wanted to. The word so far from the league is that it's just talk.

I'd be happy if they went back to only having TNF from Thanksgiving through the end of the season, but I'm not holding my breath.

If the networks aren't happy enough with the ratings, the league will see if they can get Twitter or Google to bite.

Confessed serial rapist Darren Sharper sentenced to 20 years under a plea deal w/ 4 states. He'll be released in as early as 8 years under those terms if it wasn't for a New Orleans judge who thought the plea arrangement was too lenient and may impost an 18 year sentence of her own (currently being appealed).

There's talk of the NFL ditching the 09:30 ET start times for the International Series games over here.

Personally I'm not even sure where they are going anymore with these games. I've been to four games at Wembley, two of them Detroit games which I'm very grateful for, but the whole gimmick has kind of worn off for me. I don't see any benefit to going to those games anymore. It was a cool thing at first, but for me has just become boring.

Wembley is a let down of a stadium. Looks great but the atmosphere is horrible, the beer is ****, and the food is pretty rubbish. The whole tailgate thing they do outside is a complete joke and hardly represents anything close to what tailgates are like over in the states.

I don't want them to have a franchise over here either. I just don't see where the NFL wants go with this idea anymore, and I don't think it's fair on the home fans losing a game, even the away fans gets affected. Totally fallen out of love with the games being over here.

They'll probably put on games over there and other international venues as long as they can sell the tickets, while dangling expansion which they don't intend to do as a carrot to people to buy overpriced tickets.

When he isn't dancing in the backfield and trying to bounce too many runs to the outside he is one of the best RBs in recent memory. His physical ability is amazing.

And Sharper possibly getting out of prison in 8 years would be a crime in itself.

Why do the Jets keep insisting on continuing to start Fitzpatrick. I just don't get it anymore.

Says a lot more about the progress and development of Petty and Hack than it does about Fitz IMO.

When it comes to guys getting on the field. I tend to trust the coaches, we don't see what is going on during practice. Those reps, situations and moments are captured on film and reviewed. So we see Fitz out there sucking on Sunday, then you gotta wonder how bad the other two are.

Look at Jared Goff on hard knocks. It was clear why Case Keenum was the Rams #1 to start the season. It took him this long to take the starting job for a reason, he was blowing under center hand-offs, and couldn't even say the plays in a timely manner.

Remember when Brandon Marshall wore green cleats for mental health awareness and got fined for it? Yeah, Roger didn't give two ****s about how creative players were about their commitments and causes then and plenty of times before and since then. The NFL is like that episode of the Simpsons when Lisa called out Mr. Burns for being sick and evil and even when he tries to be nice it's even worse.
