The owner is horrible but he would likely get $25-30 million guaranteed.

If he waits until next year, it will probably be similar money and maybe there are better opportunities, maybe there aren't.

49ers have high draft picks and a lot of cap space. The new GM and HC wouldn't have to tear it down to rebuild. Got pretty much a blank slate now and there's nowhere to go but up.

25-30 million over what time frame?

Even if we are talking four years that would put him in the top five of highest paid coaches. Anything less than four years would make him by far the leagues highest paid coach.

I'd assume at least $5 million over 4 or 5 years.

I think Carroll and a couple of others are at $8 million or more?

5 mill over even five years is 25 so your math is a bit off.

BB makes 7.5 million a year.

I said at least $5 million.

With McDaniels dropping off, there are rumors that Shanahan wants final personnel power, as well as have a say in who's hired as GM.

I don't think he really enjoyed being a college coach. He was just good at it.

                      Same goes for Doug Marrone.

From everything I've read and heard about him. He HATED having to spend time with/talk to/interact with boosters which outside of recruiting is probably the biggest time constraint of a college coach outside of football. I think he would even go be a position coach for a season before he goes back to college unless someone is willing to offer him Harbaugh money+ to go back to college.

Steelers' Coach Mike Tomlin apologized for the language he used in that video by Antonio Brown and also said the team will issue an internal punishment to Brown and that the league may do something as well.

Personally, I don't think he needed to apologize at all.

Hearing Phillip Rivers forcing a trade to #49ers is real. Disappointed in the LA move and wants to have say in GM/coach hiring process.

Rivers to SF doesn't make sense for either side. Even if we nail the GM/HC hires, it's going to take several years to rebuild the talent level. By then, Rivers will be just about done.
