Re: NFL Off Topic
I'm in the extreme minority here but the celebrations are annoying and dumb to me. I don't care if they're allowed or not, I'm just sick of that sort of stupidity being a talking point. Sports television is so awful, cheesy and fluff-filled. I really wish there were more shows like NFL Matchup. Something that at least tries to talk about strategy.Comment

NFL Off Topic
So they’re dumb and annoying because they’ve become a talking point? I’m a bit confused on that part, lol.

Re: NFL Off Topic
No, no. Lol. They are dumb and annoying to me. I don't care enough to have them outlawed again but when they are magnified on various shows it makes me miss the good old days when we talked about the actual games and not the nonsense (sort of like fantasy football).Comment

So you must be constantly annoyed by your own team, then, since JuJu is #1 most talked about.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
The premeditated nature of them makes me say "ok cool but who gives a ****."
Which is fine and understandable, everyone's trying to manufacture "the memorable one" of course. Doesn't really have anything to do with personality or anything.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 01-13-2018, 09:35 PM.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Take away the current celebration rules in place and I guarantee you’d see more “originality”(not that it’s a problem now) in celebrations. You’d also probably see more “offended” people too if players were allowed to do whatever celebrations they wanted.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Nah. I've liked the unchoreographed , real emotion celebrations I've seen in tonight's game. No choo choo trains, leap frog, bench press or bowling pins. Just football players celebrating football plays.
Again, I know I'm in the minority. Most people like that stuff.Comment

The novelty will wear off. It'll get back to what it was in the '80s and '90s eventually. There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.
The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.
