I don’t care about the money since I’m not personally seeing a single dollar from it so I want to know what changes will be made as far as affecting the on field product like practice time and other silly rule changes, etc.

Re: NFL Off Topic
I see people saying the last part a lot and I’m not sure I agree with that.
But I don’t have much trust in either side but if you were to ask me to pick a side as to who I “would” trust...it damn sure wouldn’t be the Owners’ word because they’ve shown me thru countless instances that their word isn’t worth a damn either.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
In case this wasn't posted, here's reportedly why in part there's no post-NFL health benefits as part of this CBA:
But noticeably absent from the proposed CBA is lifetime healthcare, or anything resembling an improvement to healthcare for former players. It turns out it was never even on the negotiating table.
Contrary to what you might expect, the reason for that had nothing to do with the owners. Instead, lifetime healthcare was never discussed because no insurance company would write the policy, a source told NBC Sports Northwest.
The NFLPA explored possible solutions ahead of negotiations and came up completely empty.
“That’s what we as a union found out when we searched for avenues to make it happen,” the source said. “No one would even give us a number.”
The concessions the owners made this week, not requiring an additional vote by them:
Per a league source, the league agreed: (1) to remove the $250,000 cap for players who play a 17th game in a season when they’re already under contract; (2) to give players 48.5 percent of the revenue in any season during which 17 games are played, regardless of the so-called “media kicker” that tied 17 games to a specific revenue goal; and (3) to jointly study strategies for reducing the offseason program during seasons that result in the playing of 17 games.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Some time ago I read something similar, "no one giving us a number" regarding youth football and how leagues were shutting down because they couldn't be insured.

WOW. Do people really watch for the commentary? I figure you could put a bird and a chimpanzee in the booth and people will watch football. That seems crazy to pay a commentator that much.Comment
