    Re: NFL Off Topic

I knew people were sick of watching Brady... didn't think it would be this bad.

Super Bowl viewership was down from 113 mil on average to 96 mil.

In a pandemic, in the dead of winter, with people stuck at home. YIKES!

9% ratings drop is right around the 7% for regular season NFL games. Sports leagues across the board are seeing a decline in ratings during the pandemic. The lack of packed crowds and just a general change in sports viewing habits had a far greater effect than the greatest QB in NFL history winning yet another Super Bowl.

        I agree.

While I enjoyed the season, not having fans(mostly) did take away from the atmosphere. It just didn't have that same "feel"

RIP Marty. One of the most respected coaches of our lifetime for sure. I personally have a hard time with deciding his HOF candidacy though

On one hand, over 200 regular season wins with 4 different teams, mainly with lackluster QBs. On the other hand, 5-13 record in the playoffs and he's remembered mainly for his playoff chokes. His chiefs totally wasted two 13-3 seasons and #1 seeds in 3 seasons and his chargers couldn't win a playoff game, even after a 14-2 season. It's too much for me to personally justify it, because whether it's fair or not, at the end of the day we do judge players and coaches by their bodies of work in the postseason. IMO his chiefs played not to lose too much

Washington extends QB Taylor Heinecke for 2 years. Dude was taking college courses until like midseason, now he’s possibly in the mix for the starting spot depending on how WFT proceeds. Good stuff as a story though I’m sure fans will want something more than him and Smith.

Pouncey brothers retire today, together. It was clear Pouncey had lost a step for the Steelers but man was he solid. Going to be a lot of new names next year.

Dude is a legend & HOFer, but have all the injuries slowed him down permanently?

I'd love the Bills to add him, yet we'd need another guy (or two) in the rotation that can really get at the QB.

Plus, they gotta try to bring back Daryl Williams and Milano...

Probably won't see another DPOY type season, but he is definitely still an impact player who if healthy could give you double digit sacks

I have a strong suspicion he will go to Pittsburgh and play for next to nothing just to play a year or two with his brother.

Since it is an outright release, I think Tennessee is the logical landing spot, but Pittsburgh is an intriguing option

Let Shaq Barrett go get paid and give Watt a one year deal.
