DirecTV's only hope is if whoever ends up w/ ST cuts them in to be a commercial distributor, leverage their already deployed operations for that. Sadly outside of that I think this is one loss-leader DirecTV will be happy to see gone as they evaluate the future of their business and what it looks like in the years that will follow.

I expect at the very least we'll get something similar to what Apple has done for MLB, I don't see why they wouldn't include value-added stuff as part of it like replays, and access to other media (as part of ST or as part of Apple TV+: https://tv.apple.com/us/room/major-l...b-444380dcd9b6

In case that link doesn't work:

I'm a consultant currently working with a large global company. Right now the Sr. Product Mgr is going around in different chats asking who is the product mgr for a certain product. Apparently the scrum master for that project asked who the point person was and this senior manager does not know who is suppose to be reporting to them. If you're familiar with software development, we have a situation where the scrum master has lost their product owner and I'm bawling out laughing at the situation.

      Management bloat is real lol

I feel dirty upvoting a Pats helmet, but I always loved those throwbacks.
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

I know that is spam, but man, I really hoped that Darren McFadden would be a fixture in the NFL for a long time.

NFL plans on having a triple header on Christmas Day per their VP or Broadcasting Mike North.

Going right after the NBA for the 2nd year in a row on Christmas.

Christmas falls on a Sunday this year which as you know is their normal day of operation. They actually regularly have a triple header every Sunday so they aren’t going out of their way for anything here.

I'm old enough to have witnessed them when they were the actual weekly uniform, I thought that they were tight then, I don't remember what the general consensus was about them at the time though.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

I remember them as well, I generally hate any new uniform that has been introduced since the 80s but the Patriots uniforms is one of the few exceptions, specifically the one from the Brady era where the jersey was a darker shade of blue. The 80s uniform would still be my preference though, the only other change I would say I liked is when the Falcons switched from the red helmet and jersey to black during the too legit to quit days

I don't think there is a single uniform in the NFL that is better today than its 80s version. Not one.

I realize that a big part of my thinking is influenced by the fact that I grew up in the 80s but that is my belief. They were all better then (with a few that are unchanged).

Amazon is lobbying (with bags of cash) for a black Friday game.

Adding it to it's TNF package would make it exclusive to Amazon (in addition to local home market broadcasts).
