"Broncos continue to do research that began in January on the potential for an upgraded or new stadium."

You know you're getting old (or owners are getting effing greedy) when you get to see the new stadium hustle twice. The place just turned old enough to get a drink last year.
I believe their owners are relatively new(last year I believe). So, I'm not surprised a new owner wants to come in and immediately upgrade or get a new stadium.

NFL approved the Eagles proposal to allow players to wear number 0. Any player but lineman can wear 0

Jags receiver Calvin Ridley is already the first player to switch over to #0

Eagles focused on the wrong thing and that’s why they only have 1 SB instead of 2.

Nobody trying to see folks rocking 0 in the NFL, that’s more for Basketball lol

It'll be interesting to see the one preseason roster cut down date from 90 to 53 all at once

I'd allow a 0, but make it a rule that it must be worn by the team's heaviest player. It would look the best on some 360lb meatwall.

My guess is that we won't see much of a change. I'm guessing we'll still see periodic cuts along the way just to make sure reps are going to those who may have a chance.

It will be interesting though because I could see teams stringing some players along just for extra bodies on special teams plays during the PS games.

I do see it like that. I don't think it's likely that we see 1,184 players being cut all on one day

I do see teams stringing a long players that they know they'll cut to reduce snaps. There are plenty of teams that barely play starters in PS and I could see teams want to reduce snaps for key reserve players as well I do think it benefits teams more than players. It pushes back the tough cuts and allows teams hang on to players they aren't sure they can cut and pick back up.

I don't like this one. I don't like Thursday games as it is. Hopefully it Is something where they could schedule a bye week prior to the second Thursday night game if possible. Playing two short week games would be brutal

I think 2 TNF games goes hand in hand with being able to flex games in/out of TNF late in the season, something that it doesn't sound like has a lot of vocal
support from owners (a number of come out publicly against the idea).

Without the latter I'm not sure we get the former.

That was a rule? Dallas played Sun-Thanksgiving and then Sat-Thursday this season.

That makes sense since they are on different TV contracts, but if this is framed as a safety issue than the Thanksgiving game should count. Meh.

Sacramento Kings have ended the longest active playoff drought streak.

                                Jets, you're now the leaders!

I'm also glad we are seeing so many droughts being ended. If Jets make it this season and Sabres make it next season, the longest active drought in any league would be the Detroit Tigers/LA Angels at 9 seasons (assuming neither makes it this year).

Don't think we've had all leagues with droughts under 10 years maybe ever? To be fair, we have way more playoff spots now than any time in history, but I've always had the opinion that the amount of spots we have now (not including the play ins for NBA which I don't like), is only a good thing for the leagues and fan interest.
