The one small positive out of this: Players report to Training Camp in 3 weeks, which means Football is almost upon us.

It all depends. If you have talent that isn't easily replaced and if a lesser talent would negatively affect the bottom line, I guarantee you'll have more rope.

EDIT: My larger point: people are calling for a zero tolerance policy for a problem that, by the numbers, doesn't really exist. People are overreacting.

Trying to fix problems that don't really exist is a common occurrence.

In terms of this, well, I'd be strict with punishment but I'd never embrace a once-and-you're-done policy. It's just not feasible.

Also the risk of arrests will plummet.

Jimmy Smith is out of jail and back on house arrest for the next 5 years:

            Link

Smith was expected to be released from prison in 2018, but he actually got out of jail in June and will serve the rest of his sentence under house arrest. Smith will be allowed to go to work, school or church during the period of confinement, but will have to be at his house otherwise. He’ll wear an ankle bracelet that allows authorities to track his movements.
Also, the Jags will now offer a way for fans to enjoy watching someone score if the Jags themselves are playing like crap:

Apparently the Patriots started a "#81 Jersey Exchange" where if you bring in your Hernandez jersey, you can exchange it for any other player.

Been watching some of the old seasons of Hard Knocks since the only seasons I've seen before are the past 2. Really getting me pumped for training camp and football.

And going back and watching the first one, the 2001 Ravens is crazy. Marvin Lewis, Rex Ryan, Jack Del Rio, Mike Smith, Mike Nolan all assistant coaches. Seeing Todd Heap as a rookie.

Arrest Warrant for 49ers Ahmad Brooks Issued

Police statements accompanying the warrant application allege Brooks hit Divens with a beer bottle three times and then punched him in the face during an argument over car keys, causing a 3-inch laceration to his forehead. The alleged incident occurred in front of Brooks' home early on June 8.

Isn't that the logo Nike used for some of the Pats merchandise like the shirts and hats last year?

That's only for the end zone. Not on the jerseys or anything.

Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley windmill dunks a basketball. Incredible, considering the guy's 5'8.

Who do you guys consider "America's Team?" By that, I mean what NFL team do you guys think is the most American, the most patriotic?
