Broncos LB Von Miller is facing 4-game suspension for violating NFL policy per a handful of twitter peeps.

If it’s the PED policy, it means Miller had one violation. If it’s the substance-abuse policy, it means he’s had multiple violations.

Either way, it means that someone has been blabbing, in direct violation of the NFL’s requirement that unresolved suspensions remain strictly confidential.

It happened last year to Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman, who now carries in some minds the stigma of cheater, even though he won his appeal and avoided a suspension. And it now will happen to Miller, even if he prevails.

That said, it’s still not clear whether Miller allegedly violated the policy regarding performance-enhancing substances, or whether he violated multiple times the policy regarding recreational drugs — one of which is now legal to use in the state where the Broncos play their home games.

The appeal could be resolved before the start of the regular season, or it could linger. Much of it depends on the complexity of the case, which possibly includes a defense based on Miller claiming his result was skewed by breathing chicken-coop fumes.

Ugh here we go. Skins camps opens up later this week, with physicals on the 24 and the first day or practice on the 25. All they were talking about this morning is RGIII and when he will practice/what he will say if put on PUP to start the camp. It is going to be a long, slow and annoying summer.

And this suspension is not for violation of PEDs. It was a substance abuse violation. Fabulous.

Ugh here we go. Skins camps opens up later this week, with physicals on the 24 and the first day or practice on the 25. All they were talking about this morning is RGIII and when he will practice/what he will say if put on PUP to start the camp. It is going to be a long, slow and annoying summer.

Thought he was cleared for practice, and will just be 'eased in' (twss)?

Nah, they will all be taking their pre-camp physicals when they get to Richmond on Wednesday. The stuff he did in OTA's was a part of his rehab along with all the other injured player returning. As of what I heard this morning (been in meetings all day so no radio yet) he isn't cleared and could be put on PUP for a week just as a "cautionary measure", which he would not be happy about.

He apparently came out and said he'd be ready in a tweet. I want to just turn the radio off at this point but one thing that is very clear, Robert is NOT excused from his role in this circus. He's just as culpable as anyone else we'd point a finger at.

He is essentially trying to force Shanny's hand at this point. I could easily see this becoming a RGIII or Mike Shanahan situation when Griffin starts to negotiate his extension in two seasons.

Thank goodness Camps get underway for most teams this week so Knee-Gate won't be the only thing discussed.

Still love the kid and can't imagine a situation where I won't, but I've got a bad feeling about where his "confidence" is going to lead in the future. He's a bit too outspoken and even manipulative it seems.
