Ah, thanks for the correction. Looked a lot like the enron logo though.

With this year's Super Bowl going off relatively smooth there has been talk about another cold weather city hosting as early as 2019. Names being tossed around include Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston/Providence(possibly Hartford) and Washington. With San Diego and Miami failing to improve their stadiums with public money, chances are looking very good.

Which city do you guys see as having the best chance at landing one?

I want Chicago, and I want the field to be in its usual winter shape. The collective fan meltdown would be entertaining.

The weather was always a bull**** talking point.

I wouldn't risk a Super Bowl in Chicago, though. NYC is about as far north as I'd want it to go.

Philly would flip for a Super Bowl.

Seattle should host one. I haven't seen that name thrown out yet. Only other places that could possibly work aside from the obvious off the top of my head are Baltimore and Kansas City.

            NFL - Buffalo Bills

My money is Boston/Providence because of the influence Robert Kraft has within the NFL. It's going to be a total disaster if it becomes a reality. At least Patriots fans will get upgrades to the stadium. That's a plus.

A poster who lives in the Seattle area said they are waiting on having the proper infrastructure in place before attempting to host one.

Snyder wants one in Washington DC. He is going to build a retractable roof stadium in downtown DC first chance he gets. Its one of the worst kept secrets in this area.

                  Eh, not really.

It's been well known that he wants to get the team back into the city once their lease is up at FedEx, which isn't for a while. Personally, I don't think they'll end up back in DC mainly because there will be nowhere to put this new stadium unless they tear down RFK.

I think we'll get an Olympics here before we get a Super Bowl, personally.

My bet is Chicago, BTW it's only a few degrees north of NYC. It's not THAT big of a deal that way. Out of the northern cities Soldier Field is probably the easiest to get SB ready as well.

I wonder why Charlotte (Carolina Panthers) doesn't get mentioned often?

They're improving the stadium over the next 3 offseasons, it's not frigid in the winter (typically), and Charlotte hosted the Democratic National Convention, so they can clearly handle the rigors of being the host city...

I don't think it'll actually be Chicago. The weather is way to unpredictable there with the stadium being on Lake Michigan. The only game I've ever gone to there had 50+ MPH wind gusts.

You think the NFL is going to risk having a game with stats like that? This was pretty much the only exciting thing that happened in that game.

Yeah weather in February right on Lake Michigan could be a recipe for disaster.
