Didn't really know where to put this so figured this'd be a good spot. Have any of you guys read any good books that discuss concepts, strategies, etc. Want to try to get into coaching on the side when I become a teacher so figured I should start brushing up on some stuff I didn't learn as a player/fan.

Read "The Essiential Smart Football" by Chris B. Brown.

Also I like, "The Games that Changed the Game." This Christmas I grabbed "Concept Passing: Teaching the Modern Passing Game" By Dan Gonzalez and for fun "101 Spread No Huddle Offense Plays" by Brent Eckley just because I wanted to understand the concepts of that offense more.

It was pretty hilarious. And completely unprovoked too. Just started talking at Sherm for some reason.

It's not a book, but SmartFootball.com has a lot of great articles. A lot of what is in the book, "The Essential Smart Football" comes from the site.

Gotta show both sides of that conversation

That's not true. It started off pretty innocent and then (as usual Sherman) made it personal and DHall responded. Each time the personal reply was more and more testy. DHall is far from a saint worth defending but Sherman's act is seriously growing tired on me. I REALLY want to like him but he clearly can't get the chip off his shoulder.

Not that I think either of them looked particularly good in this exchange, but at what point do you attribute fault to Sherman for this more than Hall? Don't know how Sherman is the one that 'made it personal' when Hall is the one bringing Sherman up out of nowhere.

But in the end, like I said, both end up looking pretty foolish. I'm still entertained though. Grand scheme of things, it's harmless and really doesn't affect much of anything, really.

                    Here's the entire exchange.

Seems like a pretty innocent conversation between two athletes to me until Sherman starts going in. Of course Hall is going to bark back and it's going to escalate into the nonsense/entertainment we get to enjoy here. I like how D. Green comes in and puts him in his place.

Is there a player in the league that overrates himself more than DeAngelo Hall? Dude is acting like he revolutionized the corner position in the past decade with some of those tweets.

These twitter wars are WWE silliness. It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out that it was all contrived, and these guys are giggling behind the scenes that media outlets actually reported it as a story.

Sherman could've ended that whole thing sooner by simply just flashing that ring.

I fail to see how he made it personal because the whole convo looked like typical trash talk to me. Wish they would've posted them in order of them happening in that link.
