Yeah, I'm not sure how he gets through appeals with the 'but mom, I was only barely high' defense, but we'll see I guess.

Crazy that the World Anti-Doping Agency's threshold is 10x the amount of the NFL. NCAA is even worse at 5 ng/ml. Maybe you don't raise it to the WADA level, but it should probably be higher than it is currently.

Other news: Raiders' owner talking with San Antonio?

Between the Los Angeles talk that was abound first and seems to have some merit and now San Antonio, it seems to me like the Raiders are really looking to move lol.

I'm pretty sure they are. The A's kind of screwed them with that lease at O.co. That pretty much killed a lot of their hopes of a new stadium and for once, it's really needed. O.co Coliseum is a dump and the cost of changing it from a baseball to a football stadium and vice versa is insane.

I heard this afternoon that the Raiders are making overtures with the city of San Antonio....

Do we really need 3 teams in the state of Texas?

The NBA approves. As does the 3 teams "in" New York, the 3 teams in California, and the 3 teams in Florida.

Yes yes I know, If it does happen i'm guessing the Alamodome would be a stop gap til a new stadium is built.

It might not need to be a stop gap. The place holds 65K, and can go up to 72 or 73 I believe. Putting a pro football team in the heart of the state of Texas will be huge if it happens.

You'd still have to play them twice lol. They probably wouldn't move divisions.

That isn't the reason at all. I love them playing 2 times a season, it's for other reasons.

Speaking of this. I will throw this out. What do we see first a team in LA or the Raiders moving to San Antonio.

I still think of Raiders move it would be to LA. Just my opinion though. I believe I read moving to San Antonio would be moving from the 6th largest market to the 38th. I don't know where LA falls on that list but I would think it's higher than San Antonio.

It's a good thing to have to play the Raiders twice a year.

The Alamodome is antiquated and entirely inadequate by NFL standards. It might serve as a stopgap while a new stadium was being built but that's about it.
