Good gawd man! At least Jerry Jones has SOME football knowledge whereas Jimmy Haslam wouldn't know the difference between a RB and a FB.

Good luck Browns fans because no matter what kind of front office you've got Ol' Jimmy's gonna stick his nose where it doesn't belong.

I think Haslam wanted Manziel just based on his popularity.

Yes I know, and it's depressing as a lifelong fan.

Did Montana admit to being a cheater? Rice did it to himself.

Are League sanctioned Gloves against NFL rules and considered cheating?

We both know the answer to that.

The issue is blatantly violating the rules aka cheating via a substance on hands while going on to become one of the biggest frauds in sports history while at the same time having the nerve to talk about the Patriots deflating footballs.

Just out of curiosity, what gloves are you talking about specifically? Players can choose to wear them or not. Either way I don't understand how you are comparing gloves(which any player can use) to the use of an illegal substance that increases grip by 75%(per the Mueller sports claim on their product) I would love to hear your comment on that.

                        best regards

Anywho....2015 SOS is out. I know it doesn't mean much but it's good to banter about. The Steelers have the toughest schedule while the Falcons have the easiest.

Maybe you should forward this evidence to the NFL's competition committee.

Perhaps I should not have used the phrase "more of a cheat". What I mean is that the material that has been developed on these gloves gives just as much, if not more, of a help to catching a football as stickum was. You see that 3-finger catch Beckham made this year? You're not going to tell me the glove he was wearing wasn't a huge part of that. It's amazing that his athletic ability got him in a position to even attempt the catch, but come on.

Here's an article that touches on it.

                            http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?id=7516003

Jerry looks like a fool criticizing the Pats when he was looking for an illegal edge when he was playing. However, I certainly don't think that him using stickum makes him a fraud at all. His ability to run routes and his tireless work ethic are why he caught loads of balls, not a substance on his gloves. And the fact that Cris Carter is getting on his high horse about it is quite funny since he was the master at "subtle" OPI to gain an advantage over defenders.

Do we know for a fact that stickum is less effective than today's gloves at catching the ball? Even so, one is legal and the other wasn't/isnt so not sure how Rice has a defense on this one. He probably should have stayed quiet.

My take on a few topics:

#1 - The Hardy "paying her off" notion is ridiculous. You need this thing called evidence and somebody would have to talk somewhere. Believe me no DA gives two rats butts about this DV case in the grand scheme of things. It's a he said/she said fiasco between two suspect characters. They both sound in the wrong to me on that case. Sounds like she wanted money and she got it. Hardy is the idiot who fell for a jersey chaser.

#2 - Jerry Rice's gloves. Sure you can make the argument that it was illegal then but it's legal now (super sticky gloves they wear). That ODB catch isn't possible without those sticky gloves. He caught it with 3 fingers. I'm not taking away from the incredible athleticism and hand/eye coordination...but there's no way you catch that without the aid of the sticky gloves.

For those talking on it: have you wore football gloves recently? I have and it is crazy those things are allowed. It is this somewhat sticky material that covers the glove and it is like glue with footballs.
