    And latest Gronk news...

Apparently guy was offered 3.75 Million to appear in a Bibi Jones "Comeback" (no pun intended) video.

    Here's the NSFW link

Living the dream Gronk, living the dream.

If anyone is wondering where the 3.75 million came from, it's his base salary for the 2014 season.

I want to live in a world where a professional football player can become a porn star while still playing in the league.

        Dreams can come true kids.

So I guess it's safe to say Darnell Dockett won't be appearing in any Anti-Online Bullying Ads anytime soon?

Seriously I think in the future they should consider banning the use of Twitter and Social media among Pro Athletes within their contracts for their own protection.

So Rix is being a bitch and inciting things and somehow Darnell Dockett is the bad guy.

            Yeah that makes sense.

Rix was in the wrong no doubt, I don't think you should blurt out those type of things about a former teammate on Public Radio. Basically the equivalent of teenage gossip.

But Dockett in my mind is definitely not going about this in a professional way either. He's just coming off as overly Defensive, and abusive going on profanity laced Twitter tirades.

If someone calls me gay in public I would probably just tell them "No thanks, but have a nice day" and walk away. I'm secure in myself enough to not let that kind of talk bother me. Just think Dockett at some point needs to take the high road and stop letting little online jabs on Twitter get to him from people like Chris Rix, or AJ McCarrion.

So make his salary of 3.75 million and an extra 3.75 for that? This is a no brainer Gronk.

Eh, he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. If he quietly denies it'll be true cause he isn't doing enough to deny it. If he does what he does he's denying it too hard so it must be true. If he doesn't say anything at all it must be true cause he's not addressing it. If I'm gonna be looked at negatively either way, may as well say what I'm thinking and be done with it.

That's the thing though, they care way to much of how they are perceived to the public. I mean it's easy enough for me to say, but I would have respected Dockett if he would have just put out a statement saying "The statements Rix made on the radio were not true." and left it at that, if he had any further issue he should have called Rix and handled it over the phone, or through another personal means.

Instead of all the Public "(Expletive) you, I'm going to beat the (Expletive) out of you so bad.." back and forth rhetoric. Just looks childish to me.

I think the best way Dockett could've played it is if he would've brushed it off as some laughable untrue assertion. Play it cool, ya know? It's certainly easier said than done, especially when someone is talking about you like that publicly, but to take the "oh, is that right? and who are you? (shoulder shrug)" approach is probably about as calm and cool as you can get. i know, that was an awfully specific approach.

Athletes are people too, and we all have those friends who don't know how to react and what should go on Facebook and what to keep to yourself. Hell even I have hit the submit button on here before regretting it and deleting. It is what it is.

I don't think it's an athlete thing, more so an 'everyone' thing at this point. Hindsights 20/20, but once you hit that submit you can't take it back.

yea, i been there man lol. but still, as a professional athlete and knowing you are in the public eye and much more open to scrutiny, and as many of these types of stories as we see, you'd think some of these guys would take note and be a little more careful. there's a reason that public relations are a much more integral part of sports marketing than most other kinds. maybe the pr people need to be having seminars with their players or something.

Some of them do. We're talking about a couple thousand people that would need to make personal decisions before hitting send here. No surprise a few don't make the right call.
