But why couldn't they have weather as one of their "criteria" (like they have until this year)? I guess the question is, if you're okay with whatever criteria they see fit, why isn't controlling the weather one you're okay with also? It doesn't even have to be for the actual game, but for the fan experience like most of the other things you listed.
Is your issue with the weather just about the fan's experience?

Yes, him too. I tend to forget about golf.

      Federer too.

Gregg Rosenthal tinkers with some interesting playoff scenarios: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap200...yoff-scenarios

        - Ravens-Bengals matchup week 17 could be for the #2 seed, with the loser missing the playoffs
        - Arizona can get to 11-5 and still be eliminated
        - A 10-6 Arizona can still make the playoffs
        - Chiefs win out and Broncos get upset by the Texans would send Manning to Indy again as a wildcard team
        - The Steelers aren't eliminated yet at 6-8.

Mentioned on Twitter how dire San Diego's position is, they are a Ravens or Dolphins win away from elimination.

My reason for thinking it's a recipe for disaster is the fan experience (since the point from them is to make more money), but I don't really care about it personally... besides not wanting to see a SB in DC, and that's more for traffic reasons.

I am on the side who believes it goes further away from a neutral playing field, and would rather all possible variables be controlled in the championship game. But I'm not really up and arms about that, it's just the way I'd lean if I had a vote. My "NFL is stupid and I hope this blows up in their face" is about the things outside of the on the field play.

I got a chance to watch it and it made me appreciate Marty even more.

He got a raw deal in SD and it was obvious AJ Smith wanted him gone despite the fact they had something good going on. And Snyder letting him go was just about as ridiculous as well, especially after how they ended that season with the awful start they had.

So far, these last 3 weeks have provided us with entertaining and most importantly, good Football games.

What exactly is the full breakdown on possibly scenarios that can happen in final week for each one of the team in AFC who can clinch playoff spot.

If I've learned anything this season it's that I need Redzone next season. Missing out on so many games because of where I live. Only so many meaningless Giants and Jets games a man can take.

A $2 million price tag is apparently too much for NFL owners, as they declined both Eminem and Kanye West's counter offers to perform for them at their annual NFL Owners Party.
According to TMZ, Eminem requested upwards of $2 million for a performance at the event. Kanye West agreed to do the performance as well, however his bill was over $1 million, plus numerous other requests that would undoubtedly cost more money.
After turning down the price tags of both rap superstars, the owners called Janelle Monae, who only requested $150,000 for her performance and thus was selected to be the party's musical entertainment.
The NFL Owners Party is held every year prior to the Super Bowl. Approximately 1,500 people are reported attend the party annually.
Check out TMZ's full report here.

Eminem or Kanye for an NFL owners party? Huh?

I'd rather them then whoever is performing at the SB halftime show tho (Idk who it even is this year just assuming it's awful)
Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, Lightning

The best highlight package is the on demand segments through xfinity. 14 minutes of highlights from each game.
