You mean like a "dome"? There's an easier solution.

Still the stupidest decision the NFL has ever made. I'm so glad I don't live in NYC.

That part is actually not true. He's only a two time failure. The problem he has is that they counted one against him when played in the CFL for not showing up for NFL drug testing. I think it's a flawed rule, but it is the rule.

If you don't show up for a test that counts as a failure right?

But we all know he's not the only NFL player smoking now and then.

For that matter, it's probably common in the NBA too.

And a vast majority of them are smart enough to not get caught. It's so incredibly easy for these guys to not get caught a first time. You have to be a real *******.

How do you not get caught?

If it's random drug testing, how do you know when to make sure pot is out of your system?

Or is it that as a previous offender, he was tested more frequently?

                  Who cares about his lawsuit.

How do more players not get caught under these rules.

Or do they? Maybe there's selective enforcement at work here.

                    In other (completely unrelated news):

Aaron Rodgers didn't take reps today, it was like last Friday (Flynn with the first team, Tolzien next... Rodgers stood off to the side with McAdoo.)

I feel bad for the Packers' beat people on Twitter because all they'll deal with is "Oh, you can't tell me Favre wouldn't be playing" and "Rodgers is such a sissy why are we paying him a gazillion dollars to sit on the sidelines. Non-displaced should be 4-6 weeks not 6-9 weeks healing time."

All sorts of verbal diarrhea from idiots. Entertainment for a while, then the ignorance just overwhelms me.

I don't know if you even bring him this week if he is around 90%. Let Matt Flynn take this start. Then bring Rodgers in for week 17. I just don't think you risk Rodgers health unless you think your going to make a good run for the Super Bowl.

Lol it's not random testing. The players know the dates.

That is correct. I also believe they don't get tested every week. Only a handful of player get tested on each team each week. In the past I heard it 10 players per team per week.

It's all about risk/reward really and at that point, you have to ask yourself is the reward worth the risk?

But if he's healthy, then you definitely should play him no questions asked.

Despite our **** defense, there's one team in the NFC that I know we probably can't beat.

                              One.

So I'll play 90% of Rodgers and take that chance, because the field this year is as wide open as I've seen it. Just have to get in.

It's not that stupid IMO. It's stupid that the NFL has an aversion to weather all of a sudden when in the past it wasn't that big of a deal. Interesting that this is being brought up because the NFL head of security guy was quoted last night on late night sports talk that he HOPES it snows on SB Sunday.

                                Famous last words indeed......
