Jeremy Ross said that Jahvid Best might be getting into a track career. They were friends at Cal just in case you're wondering why he would know that.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Yeah, I had heard about that stabbing late last night. So it seems to be a gang related thing but isn't this like the 3rd time some fan has been killed or injured critically after an NFL game? This is a very troubling sign and it's not only happening at NFL stadia but also after baseball games too.
WTF is going on out there?!Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

These type of things can happen after any sporting event. I will say fans at NFL games are way nastier to each other inside the stadium than the other 3 major sports.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I actually liked him in Washington (still do in some regards.). I think he did a good job of giving the team a direction, and identity. He was a big enough personality/name that he could basically make Snyder an owner who stayed in the box and signed the checks. Had this team gone 7-9, 8-8 this year, I think that he would've been in a place next year to again compete for the division title and with the influx of cash (estimate $51 million in cap space) improved the Oline and WRs through the draft and FA.
He also made some really bad moves. Namely hiring his son to run the offense. He was naturally inclinced to defend his son at the expense of his QBs. Bringing McNabb here was just arrogant. He was going to fix a careers worth of mechanical flaws in one or two seasons? Failing to relieve Keith Burns of his job after the Bears game, in which Chicago's special teams just embarrassed them. His constant lies and manipulation of the media and his inability to find, fix and fire those responsible for the leaks, that is all on him.
All things being equal I would love for there to be a way to fix this mess. The man said he needed 5 years to fix the Redskins and FWIW I still believe him. As far as his legacy, that is tough. He deserves a lot of credit for Davis and the defense, but Elway was a special talent and that makes a lot of things easier.
Meh, I still don't think hiring Kyle was that bad(especially at that moment)but I do understand why people would not be a fan of his or his hiring.
As for Mike, I believe he wants to be here(and he should BTW)but at the same time I also believe that he'd make it very difficult for Snyder to get rid of him without paying him what he's owed.
They can happen at any big event, especially something that generally involves a lot of alcohol. I doubt the game had anything to do with it.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Oh yeah, incidents like that can/will happen anywhere. All I was saying was fans within an NFL stadium are far more cruel to each other than what I've personally experienced while attending other sporting events. Not at all a family friendly atmosphere.Last edited by areobee401; 12-13-2013, 05:00 PM.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
This is not true. He was not breaking into a car. It was a drunk guy that was in a car that was the same make and model of his car, 10 cars away from where he was parked, and he thought it was his car. He was apparently sleeping in the vehicle when a guy and his son got back to the vehicle and saw him in it, where a fight ensued and the guy ended up dying after a struggle.

KCTV5 reported that it was a father and son who left the stadium and headed to their car at some point during the game. When they arrived there, they found another man “rifling through the vehicle.”Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Just came across this video that shows behind the scenes for what it takes to broadcast a game. I'm not sure if it was posted before but here it is
