Re: NFL Off Topic
Your statement was that Driver, Jennings, Cobb and Nelson are all great receivers and had a great bearing of Rodgers being a great QB.
I'm saying I disagree and stating Rodgers has had a greater bearing on those WR's being great WR's.Last edited by roadman; 07-26-2015, 01:26 PM.Comment

As with all things it depends on leverage, just as it does now for Wilson and the Seahawks.Comment

Ok so other QBs have better receivers than Wilson has.
I don't understand where you're going with this. Is Luck supposed to be winning or advancing to SB's every year because he has or had Hilton and Wayne?

Re: NFL Off Topic
Same goes for Rodgers too.
Wilson would be leaving probably the best defense and running game in the league.
Luck isn't leaving the best supporting cast.
Rodgers would be leaving some good WRs, whom he helped develop, a good running game and a good but not elite defense.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Luck and Rodgers would be productive on another team. Wilson I'm not so sure on. I think he'd need the right team or system. He's perfect for Seattle.MLB: Texas Rangers
Soccer: FC Dallas, Fleetwood Town
NCAA: SMU, UTA
NFL: Dallas Cowboys
NHL: Dallas Stars
NBA: Dallas Mavericks

Re: NFL Off Topic
All I know is I have no interest in seeing this team without Russell at QB. Can they be a playoff team? Sure. But I'd confidently bet they would never even sniff a Super Bowl with any "average" QB.
I don't think Russell is the best QB but definitely think he's very, very good and top 10 with a chance to be one of the best in the league if he improves on a couple weak areas. Trying to compare him to Trent Dilfer even in a joking fashion like I saw in here feels pretty ignorant to me.Last edited by thaima1shu; 07-26-2015, 07:15 PM.Comment

Every one who's commented on Russell has pretty much agreed with you, that he's a good QB.Horseshoes & HollyWoodComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Which is the entire reason of this conversation, but I don't think any Hawks fans have commented on that. He seems to seriously be trying to be the highest QB in the NFL. If he doesn't back down from that I would be behind seeing the Hawks without him. He hasn't earned that, and what that would mean for the team as the make up would have to change, requiring him to do more than he's done to this point.Comment
