Great. This policy change will for sure accomplish the NFL's intended goal of sweeping the issue - one of their own making - under the rug and make it go away. /s

I'm not a big fan of this and think it's going to lead to more headaches for the NFL. The owners just DON'T get it.

I have a feeling it's going to be more rancor and it's going to be tough for me to watch Bills games and follow the league without filtering out the noise.

              49ers abstained from the vote.

Also the 1994 throwbacks likely to be unveiled as the new alternate tonight.

Speaking of 49ers, they're unveiling new alternates today.

Personally, I think (and hope) it's white pants.

If it's basically the '94 throwbacks than i'm totally for that alternate uniform.

I edited my post while you we’re replying. I’m almost positive it’s the 94 throwbacks.

Made an issue that could have been mediated into a bigger issue, especially with broadcast teams noting who is and isn't on the field during the anthem.

                          From the ESPN Q&A:

What's clear is that the anthem policy extends beyond kneeling or sitting. Linking arms and raising fists, for example, are also expected to be prohibited.
                          Well, then.

I'm not a fan of the way Kapernick went about some of the things he did. Although I understand the message he was sending.

But this new ruling is absurd. We are forcing people to do this? Or else. That is not freedom.

The NFL is a sorry organization.
