That should lead to further voting reform.

Barry Bonds owns, arguably, the two most prestigious records in all of sports. You want the world to act like he never existed?

The McGwire-Sosa homerun chase pulled baseball out of the gutter after cancelling a World Series. But that never happened either?

Baseball let the steroid era happen. Everyone was complicit. Every level. And there is no evidence they would have put an end to it, if not for Congress.

Its an ugly chapter in sports history. What right does BBWA have trying to erase this era? And how did Selig get elected? He presided over this s#!tshow.

Their hypocrisy is just mindblowing.

.. at least the NFL HOF is consistent in electing less than worthy players.

The HOF idea I found interesting is to have a 53 man roster with roughly the same proportions as a real roster. To get in, you've gotta get in over someone else at the same position. So if right now the QB roster looks like Montana, Marino, Manning (as an example), to let in Brady you'd have to drop one of those 3.

Now THAT would start some arguments.

I didn't like the NFL 100, but there are only half-a-dozen or so guys who were legitimately left out (Tomlinson, Brees, Charles Woodson, Steve Young..)

The 53-man team would make for some fun arguments, without question.

Borderline impossible.
