This would look better if it were on the front of the helmet, like the logo on a baseball cap. On side of helmets, I like side profiles.

For reasons I can't fully explain, head on shots on the side of the helmet only really work for human characters (The Raiders, the Bucs, Pat Patriot, etc). Otherwise I agree with you.

Simple question that came to me as I was reading about the Dolphins and their "cheat motion" offense: How does the motion man time the snap when he is moving away from the center? Is it based on the snap count, ie I take three strides after the signal to motion and go? I would assume he'd watch a teammate but in some cases the motion guy passes the outermost wideout before the snap so there'd be no one to watch.

Receiver is out on Netflix today, and also the 2nd episode of the Hard Knocks Offseason w/ the Giants.

            All really entertaining so far.

Surprised folks are watching an offseason edition of Hard Knocks. But then again, folks are a fiend for anything NFL Films related.

I haven’t watched Hard Knocks in years but judging from responses over the others, doesn’t seem like I’ve missed much.

They're all pretty decent in one form or another, some more than others. Humanizes the players and coaches a lot, who are largely just objects / numbers to many fans.

This year feels like watching a real life version of the NFL Head Coach game, pretty awesome seeing them go and plant a seed at the combine about a trade or the deliberations over time about how to handle Saquon Barkley. The interviews with quarterbacks at the combine was particularly great in the second episode, and watching Daboll do his thing with them. Not sure we've ever had access like that before aside from other produced shows like Gruden's QB stuff.

Enjoying Hard Knocks much more than Receiver though, just enjoy the format more. Will get into Receiver eventually.

Showed up at Ravens minicamp last month too plus he was recently hired in a coaching role for an arena league team. Its always sad to see someone die so young but this was especially surprising because often there are indications of struggling to adapt to a post-NFL life and that doesn't seem to be the case here.
