That'd end up being a lot of money tied up in corners in a few years too.

I've been hearing that Blackmon's stock has been dropping also. Anybody got details?

Sounds like a lot of people are beginning to question if Blackmon is the best WR in the draft. Floyd has been getting a ton of run recently, and Blackmon has been slipping since it seems the Rams and Browns are looking elsewhere.

People realize that Blackmon isn't AJ Green/ Julio Jones, so they won't draft him in the top ten. That plus a deep WR class, I can see why Blackmon is dropping.

I don't understand why, but I really want the Steelers to draft Osweiler. As a Steelers fan, seeing the way Ben plays is hard to watch sometimes. He gets hit so much. He is tough, no doubt, but every hit lowers his career years. Osweiler is taller and about the same weight. For some reason I think he'd fit really well in the Steelers system (though we are supposedly going back to a running style offense.) Osweiler learning under Ben for 4 or 5 years and then passing him the torch would be cool.

I don't see it happening, and it probably even sounds weird to other Steelers fans. I just really like what I see in Osweiler with his size. I think given a few years (minimum of 4 imo), he could really develop nicely rather than starting this year or 2 years.

edit: Plus, the Steelers have like 4 QBs signed right now.

From what I've seen, it has something to do with his 40 time and his inability to separate from corners at times. I don't buy his stock is dropping as much as some are saying...I don't think he drops any lower than #6 to St. Louis, but hell who knows at this point. He'd be great value if he falls to Jacksonville at 8, and fill a big need for Blaine Gabbert's psyche (although Henne could take that job right away from him.)

The Browns need to actually score and put some fans in the stands, gotta go with Richardson imo.

I can't wait to see how the chips fall with this draft. There's been so much moving and shaking as far as stock goes.

I'm coming to grips with the fact Fletcher Cox will be gone by the time the Cowboys pick. It's also starting to sound like it's not a guarantee that a team won't trade up to get safety Mark Barron.

I want the Cowboys to trade down anyway, unless someone like DeCastro or Coples slips to #14.

I have a feeling that if the Browns draft Trent Richardson, Colt McCoy's play will drastically increase. I mean in his rookie year, when Payton Hillis was playing well, McCoy looked pretty good (excluding the Ravens and Steelers games). And in his 2nd year, his stats looked better than they should have in that team. No starting running back, a rookie receiver who was a leader in drops i think, another receiver who was a punt returner, and Ben Watson who is getting old. Along with an o-line that makes McCoy rush passes.

I'm hearing/reading Worthy, Shea McClellin, Nick Perry for the Packers. wouldn't be surprised though if they Went RB Doug Martin.

As far as the Browns go, I think Richardson is the wise pick. I know it's not smart to pick a RB in the top 10 but they need help on the Offense, and Blackmon is at best a solid #2 WR on a team.

I just feel like if they draft DeCastro, it's a damn good pick but you're kicking Arkin and Nagy to the curb. Protecting Romo is a premium, but I feel like a guard can be had later. If not, there's gotta be a winning combination between Costa, Kowalski, Nagy, Bernadeau, and Livings. I'd like to think 3 of those guys could start in the interior -- being optimistic obviously.

We'd both agree that there's a lot of gamesmanship on the part of NFL teams this years. They put out mixed messages in other words. In saying that, I've read from a couple reliable Cowboy sources that Coples is not on their board. I don't know exactly why, but I've seen that stated a handful of times. I think his motor is a concern.

I'm ok with a trade down if both Barron and Cox are gone. I think the other presumable targets can be had a few spots down (Poe, Upshaw, Kirkpatrick, Brockers, etc).

I think he's gone (Upshaw) at 16 to the Jets, so if the Cowboys decide to take him they may need to do so at 14. The other three would probably all be available at 17 or 18. Personally, I think Coples would be a good fit but the effort questions are legitimate.

Trade Down AJ, do not reach for another LB in the middle of the 1st round.

Remember what happened last time you reached for a LB(his name is Larry Enlgish & still has yet to do anything besides get hurt).

That's cool with me, I'm not crazy about Upshaw.

Who do you want the Eagles to get? I'd be lying if I said I haven't given some thought to whomever the Cowboys leave on the board is going to the Eagles. I def don't want Barron lighting up Miles & Dez .

Sorry I cannot really add to the conversation, but who would still be hanging around for Buffalo at pick ten?

I'm thinking CB, T, or WR, in that order, but I only know the media hyped players.

I've been hearing Buffalo will go with Reiff...the tackle out of Iowa. He is projected to go right around there and I think he'll still be there at 10 for them to snatch up.
