Using today's technology, as fans we have the ability to watch bits of tape and form our own opinions instead of relying strictly on hear say.

That said, I haven't come across any footage that shows Brockers being disruptive. I'm not expecting an inordinate amount of sacks from a DT, but I do want to see the pocket collapsed and some pressure. I haven't seen much of that.

To substantiate what I've seen, analysis from members of the media I respect (McShay, Bob Sturm (Dallas Media), Matt Miller), suggest that Brockers is not a ready made pass rusher. Dallas already has DLinemen that hold the point of attack. We need someone along the d-line to pressure the QB. I haven't seen that in Brockers.

K then yeah valid points, he's probably the best run defender in this draft a long the D-line.

And it looks like Detroit wants Stephon Gilmore from South Carolina.

Ultimately that means nothing though, they might be a better option than Colt but that doesn't really say a lot necessarily. If they aren't the long term fix we should pass and fill other holes, we need to stop picking mediocre prospects at QB and hoping for the best, give Colt one more year and offer a Redskins-esque package next year if need be to land a top notch QB not another fringe NFL type.

Both ESPN and the NFL Network have agreed to try and not spoil draft picks this year before they get to the podium. Let`s see how long that last. I really hope they stick to what they said.

If people don't want to be spoiler they need to stay off twitter as well.

Not that big of a deal in my opinion. We already know the first two picks of the draft. What's more spoiler than that?

Right, and considering most people think he'll be a top 10 RB in the league immediately, I think he'd obviously make an impact right away.

The only way I see drafting a high first-round running back as worthwhile is if he is one of the last pieces to the puzzle. With how long running backs are lasting in the league, and the value of running backs in the second round, it seems like taking a running back in the first 15 picks might not be worth it.

If the Browns drafted Blackmon and then Weeden later, would their college connection work out for them in the NFL?

I swear Ingram was getting hyped last year as most productive back, NFL back, comparisons to Emmitt Smith, yada yada. Huge impact for the Saints he had.
