I've determined I love the Bruce Irvin pick. We needed a pass rusher bad, and we got arguably the best one in the draft. Apparently San Francisco was going to take him with their first pick, so he wasn't gonna be there round two. I trust Carroll to evaluate defensive talent after all the great moves they've made on defense lately

To be fair to Brandon, he is a better and more talented QB than McCoy will ever be (which is sad for me to say, because I loved Colt in college.) So I guess that pick works, you get a guy who's better than your QB with a 1st round pick...sounds like a good pick. Only sounds bad when you find out you may have reached a little.
