If Lamar Miller were to somehow find his way to one of the Packers compensatory picks, I wouldn't complain...

How he's fallen this far is a mystery to me. I figured he'd be off the board early to mid 2nd round as the 4th RB taken.

Is it just me or is there a commercial break every time the Saints are about to pick?

              Cute.

I'll remember to put "Happens every year" next time.

We just drafted a guy not only from a CANADIAN JuCo (?), but it's the same guy that put LSU on probation.

Where the F did Indy come from? They have to go Bobbie Massie at that spot.

Thought Atlanta was about to make a good pick and take Miller there. I was wrong.

                        Or a Front 7.
They have to do something in that area switching to a 3-4

Hey...when Aaron Rodgers was handed the keys, they drafted Brian Brohm in the 2nd round and Matt Flynn in the 7th.

Imo, this isn't on the GM at all. His whole tenure in Jacksonville, he has drafted very well, using the BPA philosophy. The Jags haven't drafted based on need at all (the previous staff did, and look how that turned out). This draft has been all need. They trade up to get a WR, they get a DE with a ton of questions about his motor, and a punter in the 3rd. To me, that's the owner getting involved.

You don't draft for now. That's how you get stuck with bad players and are unprepared for injuries. You draft to accumulate as much talent as possible. Tavares Jackson's contract only has one more year on it, and Flynn's is only a 3 year deal. And there's no guarantee Flynn even pans out. If you take out one meaningless game (the Detroit game), for his career, he has 3 td passes, 4 int and a 58% comp. And his former offensive coordinator lowballed him and settled for Garrard. You can't go forward with no backup plan, or it will set you back years.

Pros: We were not a good punting team last year. Matt Turk was so horrible, and Nick Harris was passable. We have a good defense, so if we can pin opposing offenses deep, we can have a good shot to get the ball back to what should be a majorly improved offense. We don't have a 4th round pick, and Gene obviously figured Anger would be gone by the 5th.

Cons: We picked a damn punter in the 3rd round.
Clearly the Jags are using the BPA method of drafting.
