Lets see what he does on the field, I remember reacting this way to TJ Ward a couple years ago and hes turned out to be a good player, had a great rookie year and was dinged up last year.

I'll let Hughes show hes a bust first, Heckert has done pretty well finding diamond in the rough types.

John Hughes being picked so early shocks me especially since 37 defensive tackles were expected to have a better chance at getting drafted earlier than him. (8 DTs were picked ahead of him)
That Hughes pick ruined this draft for me.

          Definitely agree with Patiorts.
Attacked Dfense staight up. They know their offense is good.
2 DL, LB and a Saftey.

I'm liking the Packers draft so far. I love the Nick Perry selection, and I'm shocked we got Worthy as well (I thought we'd have one but not both). The Hayward pick confused me for a bit, but I've opened up to it a bit more recently. Capers and Teddy seem confident in him, and who am I to doubt them. Honestly, when I heard we had traded up a second time, I thought for sure we'd be taking Lamar Miller, especially after they said the 49ers picked LMJ. I figured TT saw a small run on RBs after LMJ went and wanted to get Miller before someone else scooped him up.

TY Hilton will be a very good slot receiver. I like his game a lot. He didn't get much press due to him playing in the Sun Belt. He will immediately pay dividends in the return game.

Its awesome that Sanu went to the bengals. Though now those Ravens/Bengals games are gonna be really hard for me to decide who to cheer on.

Great for the Bengals too, Sanu has a knack for getting open and catches everything, i mean LOOK at the QB's on Rutgers last year, . They already got the gamebreaker, now they got the chain-mover [/homerrant]

I liked the Ward pick and Ward was only considered to be picked 1 round earlier than expected. This guy was not expected to get drafted at all. Bear Cat Lair which covers Cincinnati for Rivals thought at best he would be a 6th or 7th and talked about him not playing hard all of the time. I hope like heck that I am wrong and look like idiot for bashing them for this pick. There are just to many other needs at other positions to waste a pick like this.

Seems like recently, the Browns drafts startoff good, then they remember they're the Browns.

I'm curious to know what defensive guys they were looking at. Either way, I'm pretty happy with what we have.

I don't think you're wrong, I reacted the same way initially, maybe its the beer or maybe I just want to believe Heckert can't be that dumb.

Does seem like a monster reach, I look forward to his presser to see how he rationalizes this pick, he has to see something there that others don't.

I like that Jayron Hosely and David Wilson both went to the Giants.

Now maybe they will draft Danny Coale and they will have a new fan
