Packers sign Marc Tyler, among a bunch of other people, but he's the only one I've heard of.

Happy with the Texans draft. Addressed the holes on the OL, picked up 2 WRs so bye-bye to that ****head Jacoby Jones, picked up a kicker, and this guy Mercilus seems like an animal.

Yeah Mercilus is a beast, loved watching him play at Illinois.

I think I'll pick up a Mercilus jersey once they go on sale (although I hate that giant collar lol).

Just found this little site here. Don't know how accurate it is, but most of what I've heard is right so far.

I'd love for us to bring in (CB) Chase Minnifield as well and (CB) Cliff Harris is a low risk/high reward guy if he can keep his head on straight. As tempted as I am by his talent though, staying away from Harris may be the best option, simply because of the recent issues we have had in our locker room.

Vontaze Burfict went to the Bengals. Do they a yearly "problem player" quota they have to meet or something?
Signed as an undrafted free agent so it's not some major gamble or anything. Plus if anyone knows how to handle troubled players it's Marvin Lewis. Man has tons of experience when it comes to that.

I still can't wrap my head around the Bengals actually drafting well. They had the best draft according to many sites.

Well maybe tripling the size of their scouting department helped out after all.

Seems about right from what i've been reading. In typical Saints fashion I had no idea some of these schools existed

                        Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.

Some of the guys the Texans apparently have signed:
                        Case Keenum, QB Houston
                        Desmond Marrow, FS, Toledo
                        Jerrell Jackson, WR, Missouri
                        Shawn Loiseau, LB, Merrimack
                        Nate Menkin OT Mary Hardin-Baylor
                        Jason Ford, RB(FB) Illinois
                        Mario Louis WR, Grambling State
                        DJ Bryant, DE, James Madison
                        Logan Brock, TE, TCU
Jonathan Grimes, RB, William & Mary
Davin Meggett, RB, Maryland -- yep, Dave Meggett's son (bloodlines!)
                        Cody White, OT, Illinois St
                        Delano Johnson, LB, Bowie State
                        Hebron "Loni" Fangupo, DT BYU
                        David Hunter, DT, Houston
                        Dwight Jones, WR, North Carolina

Seems like some of the guys on the Texans board like these guys. I have no idea about them. If one of those WRs could turn Victor Cruz-esque, well, that would be the tits.

Well they got a NT there in Fangupo. I wanted the Ravens to take him in the draft late to be a back up NT to Cody or even compete at the 5 tech opposite Ngata. Out of all of those guys, I bet Fangup makes the Texan roster. One because they need a big guy at NT and two because he's actually pretty damn good.

Don't really see how anyone can argue different. Pitt IMO had a better one because they finally invested in protecting Ben, but the Bengals did kill it this weekend. Their first five picks are starters day 1 or guys that could compete for a starting spot day 1. The two DT's will not start but will be a part of a fantastic DL with quality depth. I think Sanu is the perfect compliment to AJ Green. Then they grabbed Orson Charles as another option in the passing game. Everyone is going with the NE two TE shotgun passing attack. Charles gives them an athletic body out there with Gresham. I hate to say all of this, but the Bengals killed it. Even with the picks after this, they got guys that had pretty high grades. SS George Iloka comes to mind. They certainly bettered their roster with quality day 1 contributors more than any team out there IMO. Them and Pittsburgh. And to this I say:

Interesting UFA pick up. The Toney Clemons pick could be a good one since he'll finally get some solid coaching.

And yet, you guys have a good team.

Think how I feel, as a Browns fan. We finally have an exciting draft, yet Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cincy are arguably the best drafting teams this year.

At least Pittsburgh drafted Mike Adams. That'll be a saving grace for most AFC North teams.
