Another team that quietly (primarily because people are just overlooking) really improved their football team is the San Diego Chargers. I really like what they did defensively and I like that they took the TE from my home town.

I really like what the Cardinals did this year in the draft. I can't believe Bobby Massie fell to us in the 4th. Got 3 solid lineman, number 2 receiver and and a starting cb.

I believe all these guys will make the team inlcluding QB Lindley.

As for Burfict. He hits hard but dude is a pure knucklehead. He didn't care about his teammates, just did what he wanted at ASU. Didn't follow his assignments and ALWAYS had a personal foul play. I know some of his teammates and they all hate him.

I met Burfict at a party once. If you were there you wouldn't draft him either. The guy is a tool and an idiot.

At least Pittsburgh drafted Mike Adams. That'll be a saving grace for most AFC North teams.
With the schedule for the AFC North this season I'm a bit concerned for us. Nobody else in the division will be play NE, Houston. Then we have to all play each other twice. Let me just say it this way, our offensive line is a conundrum to me still even after this draft. I'm not sure what they are trying to do with the OL. Our DL lacks quality depth behind both Ngata and Cody and we will have a new player at the 5 technique spot opposite Ngata. I do not like where we are right now with depth on the interior defensive line. One of those guys that went to Cincy would have been great for us, but Cincy took them right before us, just like Sanu. Speaking of that, we only have one perimeter WR that gets consistent separation and we didn't do much to address that. Tommy Streeter is a complete project and I expect no contribution from him. We'll see.

I'll just say it this way, if we escape this year then as fans we better enjoy the hell out of it because the following year I think the Bengals will be the team to beat. I'm not sure on us escaping this year though since the Steelers finally invested in protecting Ben

Still know nothing about the Saints UDFA's, but this one guy look like he could have some potential.

            OLB/DE Braylon Broughton from TCU

            Spoiler

Those are some nice measurables, seems to be one of those guys who played Basketball until his JR yr of HS then spent most of his early college career learning the game and where to play. I may have found the one UDFA i'm excited about this year like Chris Ivory and Junior Galette in the past.

If Jacory Harris makes the team, that's a crazy. He was amazing his first year in Miami but he developed an int problem an it was all down hill from there.

Eagles definitely got the best UDFA's with Damaris Johnson, Cliff Harris, and Chris Polk.

Jason Ford is from my hometown, when hes in shape and healthy hes good, he tends to get dinged up a lot though and isn't the best with his conditioning, also seems to be prone to fumbling.

Could be a decent backup if he shows up in shape and motivated, I could see him at least sticking on the practice squad if he is in shape (big if).

                                Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.

                                Cowboys draft thoughts:

The trade-up for Mo Claiborne was splashy. We got a guy who arguably is the highest-rated defensive prospect entering the league this year, but we paid a high price to do so giving up a second-round pick. Not having that pick bothered me throughout this process. However, there's something to be said with filling a positional need with one of the top overall prospects available. Hopefully Claiborne lives up to his billing.

I absolutely love the pickup of Danny Coale. This guy was a superhero for Virginia Tech during his time there. I don't know that he will ever become a star in the league, but I could easily see Coale carving a niche for himself as that hard-working third receiver who stays in the league for a long time.

The safety we got from Eastern Washington wasn't even rated on most draft boards. We could have picked someone else.

The two defensive front seven picks we had seemed to be more developmental picks than plug-and-play picks; I know that not every player in the draft can be plug-and-play, but this fact bothers me.

All-in-all, my immediate reaction to the Cowboys draft is mixed feelings. Like always, we'll see how these guys pan out, but I don't feel like, outside of Claiborne and _maybe_ Coale, that we picked up guys who are going to pay immediate dividends.
