As long as no one moves up ahead of the Browns tomorrow, I think that they have to take Richardson. If he is not there at 4 then I don't have a problem with them taking Blackmon. I won't be thrilled if they take Claiborne at 4 but I am sure I will appreciate the pick later on down the road. If Richardson is taken at 3 it would not surprise me if they trade down. I just hope they go offense with their first 3 picks in the draft. Hopefully they can get a running back, receiver, and right tackle with the first 3 picks. Sometime during the draft they will probably take a quarterback. Part of me is really intrigued with Brandon Weeden. I know his turns 29 soon but I love his arm strength and accuracy. I know the other knock is he played against the awful defenses of the Big12. If the Browns drafted him in the 2nd I would have no problem with that pick.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.
Question: Since when did Jon Gruden become this big QB Guru? LOL
You listen to the folks at ESPN and they make it seem like every QB Gruden has ever coached/worked with became bonafied HOFers or Future HOFers in the progress.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.
Well as far as I know, he coached Joe Montana for a year, Steve Young for a year, Brett Favre for a few years, then turned Rich Gannon into an MVP, then turned Brad Johnson into one of the best QBs in the NFL over the 2nd half of the season/playoffs, so he's coached his fair share of star QBs and also developed some marginal starters into top-notch QBs.NFL: Bills

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.
4. Trent Richardson
22. Michael Floyd/Kendall Wright
37. Brandon Weeden/Kirk Cousins
Is all I want. I also really want Mohamed Sanu but I doubt he'll still be around in the 3rd round.Comment

My Browns need so much its not even fair.
Needs are: RT, WR, HB, OLB, DE, CB
Wouldn't hurt to get: FS, QB, FB
I'm hoping we can get Richardson at 4, WR Stephen Hill at 22, QB Brandon Weeden at 37, then start hitting athletic lb, cb, o line.

Re: 2012 NFL Draft Thread.
The one guy I have an inkling of "want this guy" for the Cowboys - and I realize that this isn't really a need pick at all - is David Wilson in round two. I think he's got the potential to be a stud.
The pick could be justified on the grounds that the Cowboys might intend to move on from Felix Jones after this year. Again, not an immediate need, though.Comment
