Yup, didn't have the impact people thought he would but we'll see this season there was a lot of flashes. Of course unlike other even being an LSU fan, I'm not going to hate on the draft pick could be a valuable pick given Pierre will lose it soon given the shelf life of RBs

Ingram could not hold Richardson's jock strap, both in college in the pros. Never understood how Ingram kept his job in Alabama anyway.

Richardson, IMO, is the next Marshall Faulk. No way you pass on that type of talent when you have nothing on offense.

I can't believe I'm defending a guy for his Alabama days, but i'm assuming you didn't watch very much of Ingram's career. Richardson is a stud as well, but I feel he relied on his athleticism too much in college and could see him taking a bit of an adjustment period.

That's the thing, we have more than nothing on offense.

I posted my response in the NFL Off Topic 2012 thread.

I've been thinking about how boring the NFL is going to be after Saturday. It's going to be a long 3 month offseason.

Thankfully, you won't need to worry about that.

                  I hope.

Then again, Claiborne probably won't be there either. Kalil maybe?

                    No chance.

Our bookends are Penn (vastly underrated) and Trueblood. Trueblood isn't a great player by any means, but he is our team enforcer.

Plus, you should never take a tackle in the top 5 that you are going to move over to the right side anyway.

So Steven Hill runs a 4.3? Must be raiders #1 target then

Nobody thought he would be a top 10 running back immediately. And nobody said he was the best RB to come out since Peterson.

I hope we'd be able to trade down with a team like Buffalo and get Kuechly at 10 or something like that, but I'm not sure how desperate Buffalo is for a LT after being rated the #1 pass blocking team in the league last year.

Not sure I like the idea of trading up to take Stephon Gilmore. If the Lions are going to trade up, give up our 1st and 3rd round picks to trade with the Vikings and take Matt Kalil. That's the only way I'll be accepting of the Lions trading up, but hey, maybe Gilmore proves to be a Pro-Bowl caliber player and proves me wrong.
