Hester, Vilma,Patrick Peterson, Newton ahead of Stafford, Tebow even being ranked, a few top OL being really low, Darren Sproles so low but yet 2 guys who only made names as a returner so high, Desean over Hakeem, etc.

There's plenty of choices to show how this list is terrible already.
Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, Lightning

Where would you guys rank hester in the top 100 given that he's the best kick returner of all time. Just curious.

Re: NFL Network: Top 100 Players In 2012

I have a theory to why Devin Hester is ranked so high. Remember, every player voting can only choose 20 players. So maybe, a lot of guys chose to put in what they thought were the best players in each position rather than put in who they think are the top 20 players in the league.

So obviously, Hester is going to be ranked high because most people think he's the best returner in the league.

And lol at your assumptions about me. I honestly dont care about how other people's lists look unless they have a glaring (like Devin Hester as the number 48th best player in the NFL glaring) problem or make an effort to discredit a good player. Oh and I've seen every episode of this year's list and last year's list but go on; please continue Peter.
No worries - your over the top hyperbole got me - I thought you were being serious.

That's pretty much what I think.

Alright guys, here is 40 to 31.

              40-31
              Spoiler

Unfortunately, I don't think Marques Colston or Brandon Marshall will make the list this year. There are now only 4 spots left in the wide receiver position. I'm confident those guys will be Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnaon, and Wes Welker.

Cam Newton is finally announced and is surprisely not so far off the rankings from a two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback.

Surprised Jahri Evans is the top OL in this list, guess a lot of players respect his game.

Since Colston/Marshall aren't in one of them should have been in over Desean

Re: NFL Network: Top 100 Players In 2012

I'd take them both over Jackson if I were building a team today.

I have no issue with Eli's spot. I know the superbowl thing gave him alot of credit, but his game can still use alot of work. He has a tendency to chuck it up and pray. This year it worked out more than it didn't.

No I'm excited to see Jason Pierre Paul's spot on the list as well as how the superbowl affected Tom Brady's standing by his peers.

                        This is more off popularity.
Eli should be 25-20 and why is Cruz ahead of Nicks. lol

I think Eli's spot is fine, going back to what Kingkilla said he's not a as polished quarterback compared to the other top guys.

Newton at 40 and Romo in the 90s.

Arian Foster at 25 on a list about 2012?!

I wish people didn't watch this crap so they wouldn't feel compelled to do it.
