It's the 'ahh, typical Cowboys' that pisses some of us off. We keep waiting for some kind of turnaround and beating the defending Superbowl champs was a start, but the next week we get taken to the shed by the Seahawks? I don't see why that shouldn't make a fan angry.

To be honest, my reaction isn't that bad because I think the start of the game took a lot out of the guys. Felix Jones shouldn't be on this team anymore he really is out there trotting. If I see the same type of effort against TB, then I get angry.

It probably also helps that I didn't watch the game.

Tate could have been flagged for excessive celebration after the hit, though. And the call on that play was bogus for shoving Wilson.

But the hit itself? Lee got jacked up.

If the NFL fines or penalizes over that kind of block, just strip off the pads and strap on the flags. Jeez.

The problem is, it is dangerous. Rivers lost a whole year and maybe more off a hit just like that.

I don't think Tate had any malicious intent, it just happened. I think he will be fined.

Pretty sure he's going to get fined. Regardless, I still loved it. It was perfect because it pretty much summed up exactly what the Seahawks did to the Cowboys yesterday: just smacked them around all day.

I agree that Tate had no malicious intent, and it just happened. I also agree there is a chance he gets fined based on how the league is dealing with player safety issues.

But...I think Lee had some tunnel vision on Wilson, even though Tate was in his periphery and then mostly in front of him. That was not an out-of-nowhere decapitation hit.

Tate's a 5'10" 202 lb WR, and Lee is a stout 6'2" 245 lb LB and Lee bounced back from it apparently just fine. I'm just disappointed that the block itself is even newsworthy in a negative light as it was a rousing, old-school football play.

To the game itself, I had a good feeling we'd pull this one off, but more like a 24-21 kinda thing. Dallas looked really disconnected out there. Romo was working hard, but didn't see a lot of effort anywhere else. My two friends here at work who are 'boys fans want to cut F. Jones today and are tired of the coaching.

For my 'hawks, great game, guys! Wilson is making progress, and our WR corps was more active yesterday. Props to Omiyale for keeping Ware in check

This is what shocked me. Ware didn't really have much of an impact at all, and of all the people it was Omiyale that held his own? What?!

Overall a great game all around for the Seahawks.

Would you have "loved it" if the play had been officiated correctly and as a result your Hawks had been looking at 2nd and 20+ from around their own 10 yard line?

It was an idiotic play by Tate, one that could concievably have sparked a Dallas comeback.

Just because I think he WILL get fined, doesn't mean I think he SHOULD. It looked like a great block to me. Therefore, loved it.

Haha, if that comforts you to think that, sure thing. Legal or illegal, I loved it. It wasn't done with malicious intent, and Lee wasn't hurt. Didn't know I couldn't enjoy a big block from a small WR on a much larger opposing LB. So I'm sorry for deriving satisfaction out of it?

Again, I don't think there was intent, but you realize that Lee is considered, by NFL rules, defenseless the way that play unfolded?

                                Doesn't it fall under this?

There will be an expansion of the league rule prohibiting hits to the head and neck of defenseless players next season after teams approved a new rule making such hits illegal when they come as part of crackback blocks.
