Falcons needs In order of importance...

Te: With the possibility of losing one of our biggest weapons on offense this or next year, we need a good TE picked up early. (Which is expected)

Mlb: Having lost Curtis Lofton to NO, Akeem Dents inexperience showed through in the run game and had given up a run of yards. While I'm sure experience will be his friend, we need someone that will make consistent plays like Sean Weatherspoon

Hb: Michael Turner had definitely lost a step and Jaquizz (while a good 3rd down/change of pace back) hasn't been able to make up for it. People say that running backs are a dime a dozen but we need another workhorse to take pressure off Matt Ryan.

Cb: While Asante and Dunta were able to make up for the loss of Brent Grimes, it's doubtful Grimes will resign. Dunta is inconsistent and Asante is starting to lose a step. We need someone who can step in for the loss of Grimes and our injury prone CBs.

Minor additions - shoring up the Guard position and a back up strong safety (since Chris Hope wasn't able to do much).

Just because it's happened before doesn't mean it's going to happen with every player. Plus, anyone who watched college football knew that he played behind the biggest line in college football whenever he spent his last year of eligibility at Wisconsin and he did just what he did at NC State.

People seem to forgot.. most "busts" have terrible work ethic or get injured very early on.

Matt Barkley has great work ethic.

Are we really going to try and compare him to Sanchez and Leinart? They both did it for the money, period. Once they got paid, they were made.

Barkley wants to win more then he wants the money, and I think that's pretty obvious that he would have been the #1 overall pick last year but decided to return because he felt they had a chance to win the National Championship.
I like to bash USC Qbs as much as the next guy but work ethic was their problem? Paid and were made? Is that what happened? I didnt realize these two men were on Jamarcus Russel level. Oh and comon with they did it for the money, as if these two are exclusive in that line of thinking in professional sports.

Where am I bashing USC quarterbacks?

I'm sticking up for future USC quarterbacks because a few guys say that Barkley is going to be a bust because of recent history.

Lienart and Sanchez had terrible work ethic.

9 times out of 10, a bust is someone who didn't work hard, who came into the league, got paid and continued to not work hard, or they were injured.

i like that they have browns picking defense but we need some weapons on offense not sure taking another qb like the one is predicting we dont need nomore qb controversys we need stay with one and see if he can get it done with putting weapons around him. our first needs are wr,cb,de,oline. i also heard there thinking of getting rid of jauron and switching back to 3-4.

I have no idea where he's getting that either. Sometimes hard work hardly works in life. They just didn't have enough talent to succeed against the guys that had talent and worked hard.

They are what you call perennial backup QB's. They are good, but they can't sustain a season long production. Maybe 4-5 good games (To give you hope in them) but that's it. Then they go right back to being mediocre.

                  Re: 2013 NFL Draft Discussion

Both of them have had their work ethics questioned, and called out since they entered the league.

All you have to do is look back to last year for Sanchez.

Unless you're living under a rock, you've seen the reports that teammates, current and former, have said the Mark Sanchez doesn't work hard in practice, and is extremely lazy because he knew he wouldn't get benched. Some of his former teammates said he was more worried about his GQ Photo Shoots then he was with playing quarterback.

When Lienart came into the league, the same thing happened. Teammates said he didn't try hard because he had an "I'm the Man" attitude and didn't think he had to work hard because of the money spent on him.

It's not that hard to go out and find interviews of players calling them both out.

Alright you got it. Unnammed Jets players said so. OK. Was his work ethic questioned when he was playing in back to back AFC championship games? Or did they have to start losing for guys to open their mouths. Joke.

It doesn't matter when it was. The fact of the matter is, he has terrible work ethic. You can tell he doesn't care when he makes a mistake on the field. He got paid, and he's not worried about anything else.

                      We'll just agree to disagree.

Tyler Eifert from Notre Dame. absolutely great tight end. dude can go up and get the ball over anybody, he has great hands, and has even improved his blocking a lot. haven't looked at all the mock drafts, but i think he would be right around where Atlanta picks.

as for me, i think i'd like to see the Ravens get a good safety, maybe Elam from Florida or Reid from LSU, maybe a nice CB if they're there

edit: and of course offensive line. there's definitely some good ones in this draft, but they're gonna go early, so we'll see

Hoping the Cowboys go either o-line or d-line in the first, safety in round 2 or 3. Haven't done my research on specific players yet though.

Come on man, you know that's how it works not just in sports, but in life. Doesn't mean that the criticisms of the work ethic aren't valid.

Some questioned the pick for Sanchez because of the lack of arm strength, especially in the late season games in NY with the bad weather.

The only WR I would take in the top ten is Keenan Allen, and that's still a reach.

DaMontre Moore would look great in Brown and Orange if he somehow manages to drop to the Browns.
