I doubt any team will pick him up nor do I think it is a good decision for him to join once again. He wanted money and couldn't care less about football, he looked like he was barely trying once he met pro level. Might even be more worse than Ryan Leaf, when it comes to whats there up in his head, it is alot worse.

I would pay money to listen to Skip Bayless rant about this situation should it come to pass.

...okay, maybe I wouldn't, but I would want to see ESPN's metaphorical head explode if Russell were to cost Tebow his job.

He just has to convince teams that he's not a nose tackle, or an offensive tackle.

I hear russell is still overweight. I just find it surprising that he thinks a team would actually give him another chance. There is not a lot of room for an inaccurate bust on a 53 man roster(even the practice squad)

Honestly, he might be worth it for a team if he shows improvement in his work ethic. NFL game experience would make him a decent 3rd string QB.

A 3rd QB is only on the practice squad and is there to learn and see if they have any potential or not. I don't think he can be on the practice squad, so I don't see a team wasting a real roster spot on someone who can't get on the field even on ST.

ok I've read all the posts but my question is not doubting his talent. he has it, whether his work ethic is up to the task to become what he could have been is a long shot but crazier things have happened. Now is he going to be in M25 because this screams project player and actually pretty good fun.

Depending the QB situation of a team, and depending on how he does making an impression for the teams, he may make a practice squad.

Is it the other way around...they have interest in him? I would hope he's interested in any team that offers him a chance. I don't see him as being in a position to choose a team.
