The fall of Bridgewater's stock was just baffling to me. I think some of these teams were absolutely crazy to pass on him.I write things on the Internet.

Loved what the Browns did with Gilbert as well as adding a future 1st, but didn't like trading up for Manziel, especially by trading a 3rd. I was hoping for Bridgewater at 26, then going WR and G with our next two picks.Comment

I think Jordan Matthews could be a great pick up for the Browns, with his size and possession receiver qualities. He could be a nice security blanket for Manziel/Hoyer.NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Good move by Seattle trading down for an extra pick. I'm convinced they take an OL or receiver at #40. My dream for Marqise Lee lives on...
Some picks I liked:
-Cleveland getting a future first from a team likely to be in the bottom half next season. I love Gilbert alongside Haden. I've been on the Johnny bandwagon since the beginning as well. They made some fantastic moves.
-St. Louis not getting cute and taking Robinson. Also Aaron Donald at 13. He was by far the best DT in the draft and now the Rams have him alongside fellow first rounders Robert Quinn, Chris Long and Michael Brockers. Yikes.
-Green Bay landing Clinton-Dix. Seems like every year a quality player falls to the Packers and happen to be a position of need. He's an impact player.
-Arizona adding the hard hitting safety Bucannon. Could have a top 5 secondary if they all stay healthy. The defensive arms race is underway in the NFC West!
-Carolina grabbing Benjamin. Don't know why he has slipped recently. Dude's a monster on the field and makes Cam much better.SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Benjamin slipped cause of a meh 40 time, way too many drops(at least 3-4 in the UF game alone comes to mind), and needs to become a better route runner.
Maybe I'm just harsh cause I've seen him a lot, but too risky of a pick in the 1st for my liking.

I'm not 100% sure that we take Carr to start the second round either. I think we could easily take a LB or some other position and then grab Mettenberger, Murray, McCarron, Garropolo, etc later on.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Lol Lovie Smith apparently said after Round 1 that Mike a Glennon is actually our QB of the Future and that he loves him...I'm guessing the trading efforts have not been very fruitful yet. Or that they're hoping a QB slips to them in the 2nd or 3rd.NFL: Bills
