He's a slot guy and that's the one receiver position were set at with Hawkins and Cooper.

we'll we coulda used one of our other picks to draft one also but I guess they rather beef up our defense and let our offense be like useal just kick fg's.

Packers really wanting to give Rodgers more potential options. Drafting 3 WR in the draft and a TE named Rodgers lol.

Their 7th round pick was a steal though. Jeff Janis(WR), was projected to go in round 3-4 and he had best bench press and 3 cone drill out of anyone in the combines.

Janis also compared himself to Jordy Nelson(he said that months ago). So guessing maybe if that comparison is true, that's another big reason why Packers wanted to get him.

And St.Louis I don't believe gets crazy amount of coverage in terms of NFL, so guessing the whole stuff with Sam won't be as big of a distraction as media has been talking about it possibly being depending on the team that drafted him.
