I just dont think houston is sold on Bridgewater yet. I kep hearing Clowney is the safe choice. Bortles is also being talked about alot. Houston trading down 3-5 spots wouldnt surprise meatleast..Its not DelawareComment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I'd be thrilled if Mike Evans is there for the Ravens to grab in the first, though OL would be an obviously good way to go there as well.
I think best case scenario would be if we could get a good veteran center in free agency, then go WR and OT in the first two, maybe even D line.

No way Rams keep that #2 overall pick. Look for them to trade with Cleveland if Manziel is still available. Love to see the Rams land Dennard and either an OT or perhaps Clinton-Dix or Mike Evans with their second pick.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Reading bits about it on Twitter. I love the fact that Aaron Donald from Pitt is tearing it up at practice. He's drawing lots of praise from a lot of the scouts and writers in attendance. I watched him play all year at Pitt, he made an awesome "two guys at the same time" tackle against ODU.
Hope he gets a first round look.Comment

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
With the draft this year I've been thinking that the Patriots need to take a QB in the first or second round. Does anyone think Aaron Murray would be a realistic pick? Because he was a top draft prospect but he fell on the boards after tearing his ACL, but if the Patriots got him he would have until Brady retires to get his knee back to being healthy.INACTIVEComment

Plus they have Ryan mallett, so drafting a QB in the 1st or 2nd round would be a wasted pickChicago Cubs

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
For my vikes, I am hoping to see a QB drafted. I'm looking towards any of Bortles, Bridgewater, or Manziel. However I don't see any of these players available to them with the eighth pick. Not sure about Carr just yet.

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
The vikes could wait till the 2nd or 3rd round to get a QB. David Fales, Tajh Boyd, and AJ McCarron are all nfl ready QBs who will be available in the later rounds. I kinda like aj in Minnesota. They run a similar-scheme at Bama. I am not impressed with him--he isn't comfortable when he needs to throw the ball 30-40 times a game, he doesn't have a great arm, but he is an OUTSTANDING game-manager. Why not take him in the 3rd or 4th if the big guns aren't there in the first round?Chicago Cubs

Re: 2014 NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I really think the Vikings need to try to trade up to #2 (it's mostly common knowledge that St. Louis is looking to trade down but not out of the Top 10) and make sure that they get a franchise QB in this draft instead of settling for another game manager. At #2 you would get a shot to take one of the three top QBs in the draft. Manziel, Bridgewater, and Bortles. It's entirely possible you get your pick between all 3.Favorite Sports Teams
