With that being said, Sam will go the way of Jason Collins if he isn't very good. And just like a ton of other straight male athletes, he won't be drafted in the NFL if a team doesn't think he'll be an NFL player.

Personally, when I watched him this year, I thought he was a really great pass rusher in college. He's a little small, but so is Elvis Dumervil. Curious to see what he does at the next level.
I seen his name and the word "hero" in the same sentence. Nothing against what he believes in but my standard for a hero is much higher. Words like hero etc get thrown around like candy.

On topic: Dolphins need a rb somewhere in the draft. Any dolphin fan can tell you that Daniel Thomas isn't the answer and Lamar Miller isn't trusted by the staff.

Why are the Browns targeting a QB early? Gave up on Hoyer?

I would draft Johnny Manziel Lol I just have this feeling that he can have similar or more success than Russell Wilson, given he goes to the right team. I think Houston is perfect for him, with some weapons they already have on offense with Foster,Johnson,Daniels & Hopkins. Then the defense is also pretty good. I think Houston will ultimately take him #1.

I've gotta say I'm most impressed with Bortles. He is a beast! Bridgewater seems a little messy, and I'm worried about Manziel's durability--not anything else with him. If Manziel runs more of a pro style offense, as opposed to an RG3 option attack, them i think he will be fine.... assuming he slides/runs out of bounds whenever possible.

What is messy about Teddy? He's got the arm strength for the NFL, he's a very accurate passer who played in a pro style offense. Teddy is quite athletic, he can avoid the sack and get yards with he feet when he has to. Teddy was listed as a DT QB coming out of Miami Northwestern, he is a throw first QB who will run only when everything else breaks down. He does need to put on some weight but that's the only real knock on him.
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

It might be his throwing motion that makes me think that. He kinda short arms it a little bit. I'm by no means an expert, so take that into consideration. I think he'll be a good QB, I just like what I see in Bortles a little better

People are over thinking this. I would go best player on the board none of these QB's will change your franchises imo. They are being pushed up because of need.

If I had to choose one it would be Bridgewater.

Bridgewater. Easily the best QB prospect in the draft by far.

If he pans out will be another story, but he's head and shoulders the best QB prospect in a fairly good class.

Bridgewater and Manziel are Franchise Quarterbacks. The others are up in the air. I can't believe there's some people mocking Blake Bortles to go first whenever the day before he said he was going pro, all the "experts" were saying that he shouldn't go pro because he's not ready and that he'll be better served with another year of college.

I don't see Manziel as a franchise QB at all, but hey. I'm not drafting, I just watch.

He's not a top-3 QB to me in this draft. He could be very, very good down the road but he needs to make a lot of progress.

Honestly looking forward to this years draft. There is a few interesting teams in the top 10 that could pick that piece they need to get back where they need to be. (Falcons, Texans, etc..) The QB discussion has also intensified a lot recently, personally I believe that UCF's Blake Bortles is the #1 QB on the board. I also see South Carolina's DE Jadeveon Clowney as a bust, he has been hyped since his freshman year in high school, and i believe he's finally going to hit that brick wall.

If he learns some patience and when to pick his spots, Manizel will be scary in the league. I think he may struggle out the gate, but once he gets adjusted, it could be really scary.
