But in all seriousness back 7 help especially at the corner spot needs to be a priority followed by a number 2 receiver. It also depends on who the next coach is as well...

I'm on board for Dennard at 10. We really need that help and trading back won't allow us to do so, especially with Ekpre-Olamu staying at Oregon. We're also not going to get Watkins at 10 and I'm not really high on Evans at that spot either. I'm guessing that Watkins, Dennard, and Mack will be at the top of Detroit's board. Our best case scenario would be finding a way to trade back into the first round for Lee if we want one of them. If not, I think we can grab Jordan Matthews in the second and that would still be a great pick.

Note: If we did manage to end up with Watkins, I'd be alright with us finding a way to get Gilbert.

Thomas should stay and have a great season with mariota back again. First of all he has to actually play in more than half his team's games. Remember in the preseason a lot of draft scouts had DAT in the early first round. He could be an"offensive weapon" pick like tavon Austin.

In that order if the player above is already gone.

This draft is deep in WRs, so I won't be totally bummed if Evans is gone by 18.

Ebron just looks like a complete stud.
Seeing all the underclassmen WRs declaring, I'm changing it as plenty WRs should be available in the 2nd round.

Mizzou's star running back Henry Josey declared today. Kind of surprised me. He's a great player but that horrible knee injury will scare a lot of NFL teams.

Im starting to fall into the hype for Manzel to possibly land in Houston. Dont know why but just seeing all the support and rumors of them dropping 2-5 spots down makes me think they could drop and snag him and pickup and extra draft pick

Adam Caplan seems to think the Browns, specifically Lombardi, are going to fall over themselves trying to get JFF.

Only way is if vikes trade up to get rams #2 pick and take a QB. Even then another team may take him before NYG is on the board. Giants could end up with lewan or Koundajio though

I really don't think Clowney to the Texans would be a good idea, because I've heard it a fair bit. He's such a prototype 4-3 DE. He's not big enough to be 3-4 DE, that's not his skill set, and I don't think he would be that great as a 3-4 OLB. It sounds awesome on paper of Clowney and Watt, but I don't think it could work on the field.

I think they should look to trade it and get some more picks (Browns perhaps, they have two first rounders and other picks as well.) They could draft Barr if they get the 1st of the Browns picks.

If they stay put, I would say pick Matthews. I wouldn't hate the Bridgewater pick, I just think you could get a QB of similar, but lesser value, at the top of the 2nd round. They could go Barr as well, but I think Matthews might be the best option, in my opinion.
NFL: Houston Texans / Carolina Panthers
                                NBA: Indiana Pacers
                                MLB: Cleveland Indians
                                NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers
                                NASCAR: Ryan Newman

One day, Purdue Men's Basketball and Football will become relevant again.
