TO had a couple of really nice years.
But TO isn't the best reciver in football.
As I said in another thread TO is a cancer to the team.
There is no denying that all his complaining and whinning and ME first attitude hurts the team in many ways. For all the talent he has on the field he hurts his team with his off field antics. And the best reciver in football does not hurt his team in any way.
Oh, and this goes for Moss too.

Gotta disagree... a little. Moss may be a joke if he doesn't show up for the whole season, we'll see. Otherwise I'd say he is one of the top 2 or 3 WRs in the league hands down. TO is definitely up there too. I think Mason and Troy Brown are great receivers b/c they do exactly what their team needs them to do, but to say one of the best receivers that's pretty much giving individual acclaims. In that case you've got to give TO his props. He is one of, if not THE, most talented WRs in the game, cancer or not.
The third in the top 3 would be Harrison or Boston IMO...haven't decided which one it is yet.Comment

The best all - around WR in the league right now is David Boston, he has the whole package, blocks well downfield makes big plays and is a possesion WR.
Moss maybe the most explosive WR (and this is debatable.) But at this point in his career Moss is far from being the best WR in the game.

I would say going into this year, on talent alone, there's TO, Moss and Boston.
TO hasn't done squat in 2 games so far though. And he's had some chances. He's getting gator arms.
I would take guys like Troy Brown or Tim Brown over a total jerk and team cancer like TO anyday.
It's about how you help your team win, not how good you look in the box score that matters.Comment

I think the Top 3 in the league are easily Moss, Owens, Boston. If Moss shows up, and plays his best, noone is better. I would say Owens and Boston are about even, but Owens atleast has a QB and supporting cast. Boston, IMO, has nothing around him. I would put Tim and Troy Brown, Bruce and Harrison right behind those three. BTW, the last 4 I named are in no order, I just feel they are the best behind Moss, TO and Boston.Comment

Moss needs to improve his routes, concentration and show that he can catch the ball between the hashes before he can even be considered the top WR.
Another guy everyone seems to overlook is Jimmy Smith, but this guy is an automatic 90 to 110 receptions, and is an absoulute technician when it comes to running routes.
