So we should have like a real draft thread and then a mockery thread for all of your guy's jokes.

I'd say with the draft 4 months away we'll be alright once it comes time to actually talk about the draft.

I'll just come out and say it that I don't like James Winston at all for reasons that have nothing to do with what happens between the hashes. I don't want him on my team (which fortunately won't be a realistic possibility) and I won't be cheering for whatever team drafts him.

I think Winston could be good, but his behavioral issues would lead me to not drafting him. I do not like Mariota that much.

TBH, I don't like Hundley that much and Prescott strikes me as a poor man's Tebow...

Then again, I'm no scout. I didn't think Cam Newton would amount to anything, either (though I honestly think he's just an average NFL QB). Manziel is blowing up about as I figured so far.

There are 105 million reasons why it won't be and they are all in our current quarterback's contract, and Winston doesn't really pass the "character" test that Jason Garrett places an emphasis on when building the team's draft board.

That said, in this situation I'd fall back to cheering for the Packers, who is my family's team (and I also own a share of stock for whatever little that is worth), as long as Winston was on the roster. I don't want anything to do with him.

I think his "off field issues" begin and end at his sexual assault saga. The crab legs fiasco and student center outbursts are non issues to me.

If a team can accept that red flag that he'll carry his whole career, it's all about his on field potential, or lack thereof. I don't worry about him getting in trouble in the future one iota.

When and where did I ever try to claim they were?

I obviously don't speak for whatever moral stands the team may make, I speak for me. I don't want to cheer for Jameis Winston and I won't.

I'm with you here. I think lessons have been learned and everyone is worthy of a second chance. I see Mariota becoming a Pat White or sorts, not amounting to much. At the most he'll be another Vick, but a late-career Vick, not 03-05 Vick.

Some people have Winston rated as good as Mariota. I have Mariota as a 98 Draft Grade and Winston as a 96. Mariota is obviously more accurate than Winston though. Also, Winston throwing to Mike Evans does sound like a nightmare for the other teams. It sounds like a dream come true for Buccaneers fans.

Lol Pat White. Mariota is so much better than that joke.

What is your system for Draft Grades?

It's obviously the BTX system. Very scientific.
