Not going for the fumble ensured that the last five minutes didn't matter.

Jim Nantz after the onfield interview with Peyton: "Obviously he's not going to make an announcement today and upstage his teammates."

Jim Nantz 10 minutes later: "Peyton is this your last rodeo?"

So in other words, Cam knew it was over anyways so why bother diving for it.

          I can buy that.

Well, pretty much all game, so why stop then.... so what did he do?

P.S. I really wanna know how much Bud payed Peyton to drop that plug about this evening's plans!

Gotta give credit to Denver but like I said, that was not an optimal gameplan by Carolina at all.
I think you may understate how quickly Denver's pass rush was getting pressure. Those defenders were flying around. I think screens would have just resulted in Cam taking even more harder hits.

My dad just said that Peyton should go into the HOF as a Bronco.

That seems like crazy talk to me, am I wrong? I mean he's gotta be a Colt right?

The way he asked Peyton was so slimy.

I'm sorry if I offend, but your father needs to make comments like that when he's sober.

Manning is a Colt through and through.

Did Talib shout 'let me get that mother****er' while holding a surface tab with 'we are the champs' on it?

Do they even go in with specific teams in the NFL HoF?

                          Congrats Bronco fans.

In the words of T.O, that's my quarterback.

Im extremely happy for Manning, he got another one even if it was on the back of that vicious defense.

He kept saying that he's the first coach to win the Super Bowl as a player and coach with the same team, so it was correct. Ditka won an NFL championship with the Bears in 1963, but the first Super Bowl wasn't until 1966.

It is kind of baffling how some posters defend that.

I don't really think it was that big of a deal. One week from now it will be forgotten. But acting like that is normal behavior in the SB? Not buying that at all. Yeah, I'm sure he was running to the ball and then in that split second he remembered the Drew Brees injury. Give me a break.
