"How does losing the Super Bowl feel?"

Is there a more dumber question you can ask someone other than this? This gets asked every year and I never understand why. Who are these people that actually care about the response that comes from it when you already know the answer to the question? Lol

There's mocking and there's the paternalistic finger wagging. The former he's earned, the latter is disturbing.

I agree Cam should've just answered the questions. He doesn't need to be Peyton Manning or Russell Wilson, he just needs to man up and answer the questions.

I understand why he's upset, anyone who's played over a minute of a competitive sport should, but you gotta handle your business...

Idiots like Bill Romanowski now have a platform to say dumb **** like he just said...

He did give his respects to Peyton though

The thing with the press conference should not be a surprise. I guess if you wanted you could stick it to the people who said he really matured over the past 2 years, but I never believed that (I don't mean that as a slight, I mean it as he is a normal 26 year old). Its pretty common that the guys who get the highest when times are good tend to get the lowest when times are bad. That is magnified for young people. This is nothing more than an example of that. I'm not going to hold the press conference against Cam because of this.

To the fumble, once again I'll just say I think he made a mistake in the heat of the moment more than anything. All year he was told not to risk injury because that would kill their season (red practice jersey anyone?). That was in his head, or it was just instinct for him to back off like he did. The problem was that the play was their season. I think if he could redo it he would hope he had the presence of mind to go after the ball. Maybe poor situational awareness more than anything else. But saying something like I don't blame him or it was the right decision is just wrong in my view.

We'll see where Cam goes from here, but nothing tonight was enough to change my opinion on him one way or the other (which is largely indifferent towards him). He is not someone I actively cheer for or look up to, but neither is he on my most hated players list.

Josh Norman, the guy who was crying at the end of the game, had a better post-game presser than Cam lol.

You don't have to agree, but if you don't see my point then your just as silly as the rest of the media that will drag him.
No need to take the argument to the extreme. No one is saying he has to kiss Denver's ***. But if he wants to be a superstar that is bigger than the game, he's got to do better than short, nondescript answers. He wants to be the face of the NFL... that image comes with expectations and he didn't meet them tonight. Simple as that.

Agreed. Even in Rodgers pressers, you might be able to tell he is mad or disgusted at something but he will stand there and answer the questions and act like a PROFESSIONAL.

I once threw a Gamecube controller at a wall because I missed a game winning shot in NBA Live 06. It shattered and I had to go buy a new one.

I don't know how I'd react if I lost the ****ing Super Bowl.

Basically, what I'm saying, is kudos to any athlete in that situation for not telling the media to go **** itself.

                      Oh wait a second.

I've been (trying) avoiding social media so I was under the impression from a 15 second clip (and the reactions) I saw that he received one question and walked off...

After watching the entire thing....still could have handled it better, but meh......

Lol thank you! It's not like a regular season game.. Panthers worked hard this season going 15-1.. Now none of that even matters because they didn't get it done. I'd be pissed as well.

I wonder if anything will come out about the Panthers locker room after the game. Everything about the team is how close they were... this game will surely test that and how they react to it will be a good indicator for the future.

I'm not sure why people are surprised or really care how these people act on and off the field.

A professional athlete who is used to winning all year and having fun doing it has the worst night of his career and he's supposed to give some meaningless, PC, PR press conference for our benefit?

He and his team played poorly in the face of a great defense. I'm sorry if I don't care what he has to say to asinine questions or that he isn't sitting up straight with a suit on.

But I understand this is an entertainment industry just as WWE is and people will cling on to any little thing they can to prove a point or scream, "look, I told you so."

I think Miller and the Denver D should be getting more attention on ESPN. We all know Manning had a great career. Today It was ALL Denver D.
