Don’t forget Derrick Johnson destroying Mariota on a strip sack that the refs inexplicably ruled forward progress stopped on. The Chiefs had recovered that fumble and were running it back for what would have been a touchdown or at least some damn good field position in Titan territory.

      Holy ****, Jacksonville. That's awful.

And now OPI on Buffalo. This drive has been bananas.

Also, that fluky Mariota touchdown to himself. If you run that play 100x, it's incomplete 80, intercepted 19 and a TD to himself once.

That was 3rd & goal so that's a 4 point swing right there, in a 1 point game.

I wouldn't say it's brutal per se. Jacksonville is playing super conservatively and aren't being helped by the fact that Bortles can't pass in windy conditions to save his life. Buffalo is at least being a little more forward thinking and that long drive that led to the FG was actually quite good. (thanks to JAX and their stupid penalties) This is definitely lunch pail/blue collar football out there. I think it's going to come down to a big turnover to determine who walks away with the W in this one.

Don't forget the fumble on the 2-pt conversion. Could have made it 23-22 KC.

3-3 Jags, Bills after a Half.

Jacksonville's Defense has been playing Lights out, and has bailed them out big time with Red Zone stops, and an Interception.

Bortles and the Offense absolutely has to do something in the 2nd half if they want to win, he's been all over the place with inaccurate throws all Half. If they can't get anything going that Defense is going to have to pick up the slack and score for them.

It'll be interesting to see if the Bills can continue to work the clock because that defense is going to get gassed if they're out on the field for so long.

Watching Bortles is infuriating for me and I'm not even a Jags fan. What is wrong with this guy?

Probably a mix of Young QB Playoff "Nerves" combined with lack of practice throwing into windy conditions, which just leads to a breakdown of passing mechanics.

It's really not that windy out there. Bortles just stinks.

According to the Beaufort Wind Scale 16 MPH is a "moderate breeze". I don't think that's it.

Take that play for example, really quick, lazy read, fake checkdown, take off. Seems like a confidence thing. Like he has this lingering thought that if he throws a pick it's over. Playing scared.

Idk why they don't just ride Fournette. Bills run D is terrible.

Jacksonville finally playing smart. If they want to win this game they’re going to have to rely on Fournette & that defense. Bortles isn’t putting anyone on his back.

No it's just bad football. Bortles threw five straight passes at or behind the LOS at one point.

The bills are at least trying but they're severely overmatched
