I doubt he'd play for XFL. Would that even be allowed?

Although, could we see him in XFL in some other capacity? Coach? GM? Be the Tony Romo of XFL broadcasting? Some other position? His dad is in charge after all.

His contract would still be owned by the Colts

Guardians and Battlehawks have decent logos

Disappointed in the Dragons logo. So much potential for a name like that but anytime that name is rumored for a team, I never see good looking logo concepts.
These are really nice 2007 Create-A-Team Madden logos.

Not sure if anybody follows the Overwatch League, but their team logos are incredibly creative. XFL maybe should've reached out to them.

A headline I saw earlier. There was a female soccer star who kicked a 50+ yard field goal.

We've seen "gimmicks" before in sports, but I wonder what it could do for the XFL from a publicity point of view if they got a non football star as a kicker/punter. If they're good enough, what's the worst that could happen? What if some soccer star Male or female could outperform a football kicker?

The video I saw she sprinted towards it from way back. I guess if you adjusted the rules and gave kickers more time and room in the run-up you could have more people being able to hit FGs from a distance.

Apparently she got an offer to kick in the preseason game but it conflicted with her team's game.

I wonder how much distance the extra couple of steps gave. Could she hit from 50? Could she train to hit from 55?

I wonder if that's why the Colts chose to give him all of his bonus money, just to be safe, or maybe there are contract implications in the fine print

I doubt it. NFL contracts work off accrued seasons, so when you retire it just pauses the contract. If you comeback, you then have the same deal unless the team cuts you. Irsay just didn't want to get the few million back. Unless they got the roster bonus back, it was <10 million to get back, I think.

If he had free reign he wouldn't pick the older guys. He do the Tampa "Roman" Reigns, and the Texas "Becky" Lynch Mobb.

Ok maybe not the 2nd one.

They do have the Vipers already though lol.

We could have names like Baron, Dash , Mojo , Jax, Fox, Crews, Woods, Moon, Rose and more!

When the original XFL hit, or at least news of it... did anyone else think the league would be comprised of wrestlers?

I feel like the most ignorant person ever because 15+ years ago, or however long ago it was, my biggest question was "who will play QB? sure these guys can demolish each other, but who can throw?"

I legitimately thought the league was going to be a football league full of WWF characters.

Now I wonder, would a fictional (not to tweek wrestling the wrong way) football league succeed? A storyline based football league, full of all the theatrics you'd find in WWE Raw, would that work?
