Jaire Alexander had an INT on the play, which obviously got called back. Vikings later went on to score and tie the game to send it to OT.

It's a complete joke. I'll take the tie considering they should've lost the game in OT but the game should've been over.

Referee Tony Corrente said Clay Matthews was penalized because "when he hit the quarterback he lifted him and drove him into the ground." It had nothing to do with the new rules protecting the QB, Corrente said in a pool report. Full pool report to come

It must be the thug persona Matthews constantly puts on that prompted Corrente to see the play that way. Oh wait... he doesn't have that persona. Yeah, the official was hopped up on something for sure.

Meanwhile, virtually no one is at this Niners game except their team and the Patriots must be hallucinating in their own right because of the heat. Jax is taking care of business.
