Re: Week 2 Discussion Thread
OT being 10 minutes wouldn't matter if kickers could do their jobs. Crosby missed his GW opportunity, and Vikings kid missed 3

Re: Week 2 Discussion Thread
haha, the Bucks play by play man weighing in:
Wow. What do they call a tie. Kissin Cousins? Should have been a GB win. That Matthews penalty will be discussed all week. That kind of larceny on the Street will get you 30 days in the County Lockup.Comment

Definitely true, the kickers have been extra weak so far.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills

It's a complete joke. I'll take the tie considering they should've lost the game in OT but the game should've been over.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Re: Week 2 Discussion Thread
This should be interesting:
Referee Tony Corrente said Clay Matthews was penalized because "when he hit the quarterback he lifted him and drove him into the ground." It had nothing to do with the new rules protecting the QB, Corrente said in a pool report. Full pool report to comeComment

Is Corrente on drugs? There's no way that Matthews lifted him up.This should be interesting:

Some crazy intellectual distortion going on by the refs and the league there.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Week 2 Discussion Thread
It must be the thug persona Matthews constantly puts on that prompted Corrente to see the play that way. Oh wait... he doesn't have that persona. Yeah, the official was hopped up on something for sure.
Meanwhile, virtually no one is at this Niners game except their team and the Patriots must be hallucinating in their own right because of the heat.
